What a great event put on by TDW! Heather unfortunately had her first wreck after 8 years of riding and was able to only miss 1 session the whole day and get back out there! Can’t wait for the next one! 🙌🏻
Agh still frustrated that I made this mistake and damaged my bike. I haven’t even slowed down for a moment to process what my next steps will be as far as rebuilding my bike. I’m super fortunate it was only cosmetic damage, to my bike and of course myself. I’ve come away from this experience with my greatest focus being my gratitude for my wellbeing, safety (thanks to One X! As well as Barb/TDW/Jennings for hosting these events with safety at top of mind) and the incredible support system I am surrounded by. I’ve definitely felt the love from everyone and I appreciate all of the kind words. I am indebted to Jake and Chris for immediately assessing my bike and getting to work on it for me so that I could achieve my goal to get back out and ride! I was so upset that I had potentially killed my whole weekend on top of damaging my bike. My sense of endless gratitude is refreshed yet again. We are so blessed to have our track family to share this full life with ❤❤
Just remember the bike is always secondary, as much as it sucks to see our bikes get damaged, our bodies are the most important part! Bikes are just money, health is our wealth. So glad you came away from this unharmed, you are my biggest blessing. ❤️
Heather, you're such an inspiration! This is my 1st year track riding, and it's intimidating as a woman. Please keep posting her riding as there are not a lot of good female track riders to keep us newbies motivated to keep going.
Woohoo! Congrats on getting started on track, it’s addicting! I feel like I’m definitely seeing more females riding on the track these days and it’s great to see! We will surely keep posting. Thank you for watching 😊
I went down my last track day as well. I got lucky no real damage, but it's more embarrassing than anything...but what better place to lay a bike down while gaining skills. Good job!
absolutely agree! But I wouldn't be embarassed, it happens to everyone. Hell just watch motoGP and someone crashes nearly EVERY race, just part of the sport, the more you push the higher your chances are. Glad you were ok man!
Huge respect to you Heather!!! 😎👊 One of the best life lessons my Mom taught me as a boy riding horses was "if you fall off you get right back on.....". ❤🐎 That's not always the easiest thing to do but definitely worth it. I'm sure you were gutted(and of course extremely embarrassed) when you went down. Having a great group of people to support, help and encourage you is priceless and it looks like you do. Most important of all is you seem to be pretty much injury free. Really glad to see that. Having quality gear makes all the difference and you both have the best. I'm having sympathy "pains" for you having gone down a "few" times myself. Learn from it, use it to be a better rider and keep having fun riding. Looking forward to seeing more video from you both! Thank you for sharing and keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🏍🏁 Randy
Had no idea you guys were RUclipsrs, this just popped in my timeline and was surprised to see who it was, you guys seem so quiet and reserved never woulda thought.
Glad you are ok! Crashing sucks, but you really do learn so much from it. Amazing getting back out there again too. Glad your AIM-Solo survived! My wife and given me a new AIM SOLO 2 DL for my birthday and 4 months later, it was destroyed in the crash.
HONESTLY HER RIDING THOSE HORSES IS A LOT MORE DANGEROUS.... LUVYALL.....GLAD SHES OK AND EXTREMELY PROUD TO SEE HER JUST JUMP BACK OUT THERE!!!!! AWESOME HEATHER 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍😁😁😁👍👍👍😁❤️😁👍❤️😁
Hey, don’t beat yourself up too much! if you’re able to walk away from a spill with your health intact and a smile on your face you’re doing pretty well lol.
Well, it was the best place and time to go down... By the far most common mistake I see is people not doing enough the warm up laps every session. Heather is one tough girl to go out again after a spill! Horse rider spirit, I guess? :D
Kudos to you! I crashed in August of last year and didn't get back on until May of this year due to injuries and it greatly effected my mental which in turn effected my riding. I'm still struggling with trusting my tires and being confident on the bike even though I still ride the street 2hrs a day during my commute round-trip. BTW you guys have a NEW FAN because I didn't know you rode and fished! 👍🏿💪🏿💯 I am subscribed!!!
Years ago I learned how to wheelie watching your videos. Got really good at them, I rarely ride on the street and mostly go to the Track. I’m close to mid Ohio, it’s funny as I’ve grown with my bike your videos have stayed entertaining haha. You guys are killing it!!! Glad the crash was not bad and could keep riding. Maybe I’ll see you out there on the track someday
That would be the only thing I would change with my girl is her height so she could ride her own at not have to backpack all the time. Glad she is ok and got over it pretty fast. She's a keeper

Heather showing some warrior spirit ! Good job Glad your ok. Crashing is learning we’ve all been there !! As you figure out your mistake you’ll fix that = even more skilled rider !
You got that right, just another reminder of why we avoid the streets these days. Oncoming traffic, trees, debris, rodents, the odds are stacked against you out there. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Horse rider spirit indeed!
Didn’t stop her from running advanced the next day! Saw her out there on Sunday. I was working out my new to me R6
Nice! Yeah she went out in A group Sunday and did well! Very proud of her for getting right back on!
Killerrr Millerrr took a spillerrr?! But lookie there. Back in the saddle just like that. Still a superhero.

Look into a short seated bike like the ninja400 or something similar; you can also have them lowered 👍🏻
@@SALTxTHExWOUND We already looked into it. I have Hayabusa and she is only 4'10' lol.
Wow She's a Champ!!! Come on now. Blessings to you, you kept going. Hello from San Jose, CA (Bay Area)
😊 thank you

Nice run from you both. Glad she's alright after her tumble
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Glad your solid, Heather. S' happens all the time to everyone on the planet. Don't give up, you are a fantastic rider.
I totaled my 05 750. it was not repairable. I still ride today.
Yes! Thank you!
Glad she’s ok. Sucks she took a spill. Seems like some new custom plastics will be in order. Good part is she was at a track and not out in the public

Killer looks like a cyborg in the suit.
Haha she’s something!
WHAT GOT HER CHIN....?? SOME ROAD PEBBLES??
Glad she is ok .
You and me both, thank you 🙏🏻
Most importantly, I'm glad she came away with no injuries. Chin scrape aside.
Absolutely 💯
Thank you 🙏🏻
Looks like someone’s getting new fairings. At least Heather is OK with only minor scratches.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Yep, it does happen to everyone! Don’t sweat it!
ANSWER TO MY OWN QUESTION...IVE WRECKED BEFORE AND WAS PROBABLY A PIECE OF WINDSHIELD THAT GOT HER CHIN
Ahh that would make sense!
@@SALTxTHExWOUND bro seriously those damn windshields are more sharp than real glass!!! Like grenade shrapnel 🤣🤣🤣👍
Looks like mostly fairing DMG not bad but that’s the reason people have dedicated track bikes. Good to see she had all the right gear and is okay.
You and me both, we’ll slowly be converting this bike to track only 👍🏻
🙏
Maybe tire warmers would help.
On them now 👍🏻
Best thing for her to do get straight back on that bike.
Get up dust yourself off and go again💪👍
Agreed! And that’s what she did 💪🏻
Candy Corn Rules! Fight me! 👊🤛
What did you hit your chin on?
haha she loves her some candy corn!
She thinks she cut it on the vent inside her helmet but still not 100% sure
Time to convert to race plastic and track only
Coming soon 💪🏻
