This was incredibly helpful, thank you so much for sharing! I recently bought a practice hand and didn't realise you're supposed to secure a "nail bed" nail and found it quite difficult to work with the nail constantly moving and popping out. I'm going to enjoy using it much more now knowing what you've just taught me, thank you again! 😊
Amazing video, great tips! I use nail tip glue to stick down the nailbed , it just saves me having to buy anything extra and works well so far. I've tried to use gel to attach a tip but it never gets to the sidewall without overspilling and also missing spots, wish I could make it work!
Thank you! As for the nail glue, if it works that’s all you need! With attaching the tip with gel I would say instead of applying the gel on the tip itself have you tried applying a thin layer on the nail instead and then apply the tip? I would suggest base coat instead of a hard/ soft gel due to its thin consistency and high adhesion properties. Also don’t put too much pressure when applying the tip. I am able to apply the tip using one hand and the torch but if you need to use both hands, get a UV light such as the one I recommended on my vídeo - Beginner nail tech practical tips and tricks. I hope it helps 😘
Great ,great video sweethart, i have a few question where i realy hope you can help me with?🤗😅i just recieved my new silicone hand,a hard silicone poseble hand,i will ontboxing her soon on my channel, but i noticed a few problems with the nailslots😢and i was wondering if i can do anything about it, my thump looks like the maker did not make the cutical slot wide enough, the nail that came in the thump is way to small,so when i was trying to place the correct size in it?the nail is not going in the slot!it realy feels like the slot is not wide(long) enough for the correct nailsize? I hope you understand wat i mean 😅but this is not my biggest problem😢becouse i almost never do the thumpnail on my practice hands...the big problem is the ringfinger😢 when i place a xl nail in the ringvinger ,the nail is not strait at all!it is even going over the nail next to it!I did notice if i dont put the nail al the way in the slot, than she looks pretty strait, but the nail is not secure at all anymore...I realy don't know how i can fix it ,and i realy payed a lot for her😢 do you maybe have any idee? Also,i love the way you showed to use a dubble nail on top off eachother, but i can not do that with these hands...i can only fit 1 nail in the nailslot🤗 i realy hope you have some idee's to help me with the ringvinger 🙏🙏🙏❤💋❤💋
Hey 👋🏽 I have used the silicone hand from aliexpress and noticed the middle finger also leans towards the ring finger which makes it hard to apply tips and file straight. Unfortunately I don’t see how you could fix yours as it seems the hand was made that way. It’s a shame you cannot apply 2 tips…I would have suggested to adapt the tip and file until it looked straight. Is there any videos on RUclips with the same hand as yours? Do your unboxing video as it might help someone else and you could get some feedback from someone who has the hand and can share their tricks. Best luck 😘
@@nailarchitect1091 thank you so mutch sweethart for your comment 👍🏼yeah, the hand i got was a lot money...on 1 side i want to do the ontboxing, but on the other side i am holding back on doing it,becouse i will hurt that compagny a lot when i do that😔i just don't know wat to do anymore😔😔😔
Thank you for this! One question I can't figure out though - how do you get the extension nails off? 🤔 If you pull/rip you risk destroying the hand, right? And acetone will dissolve the whole nail, right? Appreciate your response 🙏
No lovely, I used the crystal stick to demonstrate how I create a gap between the double sided tape and the tip I’m working on. The tip glued with super glue never comes off! It remains there as a platform. Also the silicone will not dissolve in acetone, therefore if you want to remove the tip glued with super glue, all you need to do is soak a cotton pad with acetone and leave it for a few minutes and it will all come off super easy. For me, I don’t want to waist time doing this every time I want to practice, hence I created this method.
@@nailarchitect1091 Thank you! Yes, I love that you can leave the nail glued on there. But on the lighter finger you tug the tip of the nail up under the "cuticle". You can still remove the nail with the crystal stick?
I use the same removal technique for both! The only difference I am a little more cautious with the extension tip. Also remember the double sided tape is only secured on the “nail bed” area, so it quite easy to lift the tip and wiggle the stick
THIS WAS SOOOO HELPFUL! I have been searching for this exact tutorial and this is the only video I could find to show me from literally step 1!

I just received my hand yesterday so thank you for this information.
❤ Thank you so much for this! I just received my hand from Amazon . I’ll post a video soon 😊
The special sticky clay is way better option. It doesn't damage the hand and it's easy to remove
