Well done Bangladesh. As an Aussie, watching this piecemeal live on YT in the wee small hours from Down Under whilst waiting for Aus-Ind in Adelaide for the 2nd BGT Test, I have no dog in the fight.... though I always love watching Taskin and Shemar Joseph bowl.... .....and I know it is maybe a money thing on both counts.... .....but for the love of all things holy..... can we get: A) A THREE test SERIES at the LEAST.... imagine the intensity of the next game... IF THERE WAS ONE!!!! B) Get some PEOPLE IN THE STANDS? When I was a kid in the late 70s, early 80s, right through to at least the mid 90s... then Windies rocked in to town here, the Calypso Carnival as they were called came with them... filled half the stadium. When we went THERE, man, it was almost like you were in India!!!! Who showed up to this match? Three old dudes, some Anglosphere Expats probably hoping no one won, and Rasta so stoned he was there waiting a kick off that never came. Someone at West Indies Cricket REALLY needs to DO something about that. EVen if you have to GIVE AWAY tickets. That stadium was a DISGRACE.
@@SureshDhanya It has to be a marketing and media problem, surely? The first Test of the BGT at the WACA here in Australia, had like 90,000+ plus attendance. Even spread over 4 days, at 20,000 odd a day, that's a great figure. There was almost NO ONE at this match, or the last. Even just a couple of thousand over the entire match would be something. It was shocking.
@@Apis4 Marketing and Media can help only if the audience love the Test match product in the first place. Right now, the audience seem to prefer the fast paced T20 version. So education about Test cricket is necessary - the intricacies of a 5 day Test match needs to be communicated. The great test matches need to be shared. The role of pacers and spinners and openers and middle order and more need to be explained. A love for the Test match format of the game has to be established before we reinforce the same with marketing and media. It's a long journey but it's worth Saving the Tests!
@@SureshDhanya They once knew all that by heart in the West Indies.... !!!! I surely they have not forgotten? If the West indies has forgotten the greatness of their own Cricketing history, there is no hope to be honest/ If West Indies fans now no longer.. If they HAVE fallen so far, as fans, you're of course right.... but my answer to that is NO, why bother, No Cricket For YOU West Indies, you have failed, goodbye and bah humbug.
WI scored 400 in that first test because there was no Nahid Rana. Rana came into the Bangladesh team and all of a sudden it got real and WI did what they usually do when the cricket goes up a notch...lose. (A viewing fan since 1986)
It's still conjecture to state that if Nahid Rana had played the first that the result of the first test would be different. The fact is West Indies won the first test but lost the second. I'm not saying we played well but better teams have been bowled for low scores also. What this noise about? This is the nature of cricket. You think Australia or India will win all the time? No! They might win many but they'll not win all.
brother i love windies team but i still wanna say that in 1st test match bd fielders dropped many catches and also for some reason the bowlers were not getting their lengths right which they did in 2nd test all the pacers lengths were fantastic so even if Nahid didn't played 2nd test windies still would not had managed to 200 score
Why the video is not available in Bangladesh. I had to use vpn to watch it..Make it available in Bangladesh for more views. There are many Bangladeshi audiences
WI needs to start being patient cricketers too much reckless shots it’s a shame what WI cricket has become they had almost 2 full days to make 287 runs and get bowled out cheap what a shame
WI fully Showed badly their toxic sledging and anger in this match.0% performance in batting but 300% sledging performance by 3-4 players and a substitute player. This was totally rude behaviour as a host nation country and should be banned that substitute fielder who has shown some anger sign after warned by umpires several times and that was against cricket rules. WI team is not a kenya or Zimbabwean country. Most of legendary cricketer borned there.
So, serious question. Why is desilva and braithwaite still in this squad? We have a young changerpaul that is going through a dry spell right now, but why aren't we giving him a fair chance?
Where are all those people who organize to get rid of Mr Cameron I notice that they have all gone silent why there are no outcry from these people now I could have bet my last dollar Dat west indies would lose dis match this is how they play win one lose one they cannot put two good inning together it is a shame
WI players not getting enough playing time in Test Cricket .....Gone are the good days of comprehensive , torough tour by visiting teams ....By tour teams playing all Main Islands and territories excellent talent were spotted .....Nowadays ...just a silly practice match and straight to the Test matches .....Clearly ICC using ways ,metodologiez and point system to promote who the want and sinking WI test Cricket ....A methodical and diliberate means to put down WI cricket .....In that match in Jamaica ...Go with some players who excel on that ground ....look back at past 3 yrs and pick by performance on particular grounds ....Trust it will work...Eg Tevin Imlac /Kemol Savory in Jamaica and Kevin Sinclair ,K Wickham ,R Simmonds in Antigua.Hodge ,Carty and Greves I will keep but Da Silva ,Athanze ,M Louie should be history ...I will keep Braithwaite a bit longer and give him back the fella he use to make big stand with ( forget about strike rate crap in Test Cricket ...its 5 days) Chanderpaul or Nandu as his opening partner...not T20 louie
Thanks to West Indies cricket for uploading every new match ❤
All those sixes were mind blowing, what a hit man!
Congrats Zaker.

empty stadiums for tests is a serious problem in south africa too - need spectators for the high quality tests being played these days all over

You correct, also i am thinking it right now❤
They also brought Shadman who played a vital role.
The first inning w I should have gone on the attack facing a low score
