My ex wife's father was the inspector for the Forest Service over the development of the cave. I caught some nice trout in the lake and stream there. When I was there many years ago there were plenty of copperheads below the dam. I saw enough copperheads I made a speedy retreat.
Wow, it's been a while. I'm bettin alot of things will have changed. I live two hours north east, just into Missouri, but I get to Mountain View at least 5 times a year. I will ride the 4 hour round trip just to eat at the Wing Shack Cheeseburger Grill 🍔
@@rockynix7731 Ive been a dozen times, great to visit, nothing to do in this area, there a some beautiful cabins in "56" when your passing through... great back roads for motorcycles, WATCH OUT for deer.
