God, this one is a beauty. There is just something about that combination of colors and materials that makes it just really pleasing to see operated on.
I found your videos through unintentional asmr. You have a very relaxing way to your videos. So helpful in helping people relax. I've subbed. Keep up these amazing videos
One Mercedes-Euklid machine which would be interesting to look at would be the model 8, which was the first fully automatic mechanical calculator on the market, having an input register on the bottom just for automatic multiplication. There is one video demonstrating one of these on RUclips, but it doesn't really go into detail on what the operator is doing.
The comment section of this video: 75% about the calculator 25% for various other reasons, such as unintentional asmr or being oddly intrigued. I'm sort of halfway between those.

Glad you enjoy them! Always great to hear. =)
The ghost "D... in any case found your channel, strangely interesting with a pinch of asmr tingles which is always great.

Thanks for the video, just got one and it helped me understand how to operate it. Might also post a video later.
That's cool! Congrats on the new toy.
Please send me a link if you end up posting a video.
My God, who knew there were so many different types of calculators?
Something tells me you also adore cliff stoll xD not this one, but a another clip of a mechanical calculator. I recognized that one from him haha
It's the one where he's gotten ahold of a Millionaire, right? That was an interesting watch.
The best kind of SCP...
I guess you could say its the Mercedes of mechanical calculators.
“To which I say... Gotcha bitch!”

Unintentional intrigue and oddly asmr.
I get creeped out when I think about the number of jews, slavs and romas that machine must have added up each week. So awfull...
Huh, that is a new angle. It was manufactured in 1935, so certainly not impossible.
It's still an antique, so it's old in my book bud.
