Taking me back to 2003/04, when this album was in heavy rotation for me. Had no idea at the time that Sia's voice would become so ubiquitous 10-15 years later.
This is exactly how technology & peoples very souls brought together in harmony. Gospel like....First I've ever viewed Zero 7 live & its as good if not better than the album version....all there stuff really mellow...AIR & St Germain etc. Beautiful song never fails to impress whenever played
You know Sia!! This was before she was a world famous superstar, but you know her song Chandelier, it would be impossible to escape hearing that song. She’s an extraordinary singer/songwriter. 💖
You're a whole vibe!!! From Jamiroquai to Portishead to Zero 7. These are all the experimental music I grew up on, before LoFi was a genre. Acid Jazz, TripHop, and wavelengths of this type. Thanks for this.
Would love to see your take on some Portishead. Anything off of their first two albums (Dummy, and their self titled album) would be amazing. An eternal vibe.
They had many amazing solo singers over the years including Sia, Tina Dico, Sophie Barker, Mozez and Jose Gonzalez. They started as studio recording engineers/musicians that formed their own band. Home - Tina Dico In The Waiting Line - Sophie Barker I Have Seen - Mozez Futures - Jose Gonzalez Mad respect for their depth......
Hey Teez Sia the singer here is the one that wrote the song Diamonds and gave it to Rihanna who made it a massive hit. If you all liked this vibe I recommend that you react to the following songs that also have this vibe: 1. Just To Be Loved By You (by Al Jarreau), 2. Close To You (by El Debarge), 3. Somebody Loves You (by El DeBarge), Go get it soldier.
this is the legend SIA! Please react to her most iconic live performances, Alive - live at Graham Norton and Soon We'll Be Found - live at David Letterman!
One of my favorite discoveries since I found them years ago - Don't sleep on Tina Dico or Jose Gonzales from that same period. The whole Simple Things album is amazing!
can you react to sia performing a song called Alive on the graham norton show? Nowadays Sia doesn't show her face for privacy reasons and not wanting to be famous so that's why you won't see her face in current performances.
This vibe of music (downtempo electronic-ish?) was pretty popular in the early 2000s. A lot of great bands were making great music then, like Thievery Corporation.
If you like Zero 7, you must checkout AIR, they're one of (if not) my favorite band of all time. I suggest you should checkout their debut album Moon Safari first
My favorite video of this song. Fire. 🔥 Pls also do "Distractions", "Somersault" and "In the Waiting Line" from the same album. She was their lead singer before she went solo. The live performances like this one are the best
Please react to Sia’s live performance of Alive at the Graham Norton Show next :) She (the blonde singer) has improved so much more since this performance and is now one of the greatest singers and songwriters in music history! She currently has over 50 billion streams and has the most views on RUclips than any other female artist ever
I think its time for the heads to prevail Talking Heads, Portishead and especially Radiohead all three have a ton of innovation and great back catalogs in fact Radiohead is one of the most critically acclaimed bands ever and if you like this Trip Hop sound Portishead does it best and Beth is a great songwriter as well Massive Attack is pretty great as well.
This is the song that was playing when I got married.
Yeah, this deserves more love than it got. Those harmonies...
this song is, gorgeous. smooth, buttery, goodness.

She was already famous, zero 7 are an established act.
@@simongill4715 not nearly as famous as she is now, I listened to zero 7 at the time and I did not know her name, so no.
Zero 7 is a GREAT rabbit hole to fall into! They feature many amazing singers...discover as many as you can.
I waited two months to see this reaction.
It was worth every minute.
Glad you dig it, Fam.
Yeah Awesome 👌
Thanks Fam! #1 Teez song curator LOL. Thanks for the great suggestions!
This Zero 7 w/ Sia and Sophie are... are just... um, awesome!
Check out in the waiting line and swimmers
That is SMOOVE! You hear me! I didn't know Sia did it like that! Man!#AllAboutTheHarmonies
I love this song. I remember first hearing it in the movie Blue Crush

Sia - Soon We’ll Be Found is the most gorgeous song of hers.
Been listening to this for years, now both my daughters love Zero 7
This is the first song I heard by Sia. And made me a definite fan of zero 7. Somersault is another fave

Home - Tina Dico
In The Waiting Line - Sophie Barker
I Have Seen - Mozez
Futures - Jose Gonzalez
Mad respect for their depth......
You are lucky to have discovered Zero 7. Every song is a hit
Zero 7, Massive Attack, Portishead, Morcheba... takes me back to highschool
Smooth as silk
So throw....back and mellow, just right for a Sunday evening 😊
First time hearing, not surprised it's courtesy of Teez
Whats amazing is they can bang this out live in what looks like a classroom! I LOVE me some Zero 7
Teez do you know who Sia is? B in the past 5 years she emerged as a gigantic star.
You totally understood it man.
This song is so relaxing
That little blonde girl with the voice of an angel. her soulful singing hits deep...only Portishead comes close to Sia's range and depth.
Zero 7. Collective wonder!

Saw these live over 20 years ago 😂✌❤🇬🇧
Zero 7 - fantastic band.

They are soo amazing

LoFi before it was discovered. Awesome reaction Teez
I love Zero 7...so different
Look into a live studio session Zero 7 did of a song called Ghost Symbol. It is the sickest jam ever
Love Zero 7 ❤️
Just noticed the Orlando hat. Nice. I went to motorcycle mechanics school there.
Great song. The A have a few other amazing ones. Do You Believe is my favorite

Gorgeous Vibes !! 😊 ❤
FYI. Zero 7’s first album is in my top 5 all time records.
Heard it before 💗.
Gotta watch obsessed w beyonce that scene w this song makes so much sense
Dang I'm late, but I love me some Zero 7
even though he is not on this track you should check out Mozez who was the front guy of the band, his solo material is really cool
effortless :)
If you like Zero 7, you must checkout AIR, they're one of (if not) my favorite band of all time. I suggest you should checkout their debut album Moon Safari first
If you dig this, you will love pretty much all of Zero 7.
Sia is pronounced like Cee-Ah.
please reakt to Zero 7 - In the waiting line 👍

@@TeezMcGee This is from 2005. The whole album is fire: it's how I learned about Sia:

Chill overlord. Zer0 7 has a lot of good songs and Sia blew up after those early collab days.

I love Graham Norton performances. My favorites are Bruno Mars and Jake Bugg.

Not my kind of music but I'm not shutting it off either.
Sia pre-2005 was incredible. She's STILL great but a bit too radio pop for me
