I think ur selling a dream abit here the reason you cut out after a few seconds of full throttle is cause your bms shuts off, only shuts off for a second but that’s cause your pulling to many amps out a battery that can’t handle it. Experienced all these issues on a nuclear and if you know your controllers sintech and nuclear are very similar. Both will pull untold power till the bms gives up and shuts off it’s a safety feature to stop you killing the battery. Taleria and surron batteries both do it. Stock anyway.
Hey Lance, it might be worth it to try the KO Nano again and see how it compares. In June/July this year as well as recently the KO app has seen some big updates with some firmware changes to the controller as well (smoother throttle mapping being the main one). Also, changing between 60v and 72v should be super easy since you can simply add multiple profiles and flash them via bluetooth

In our opinion if you already have a Sting R you should just keep it and mod it if you feel you need too. The Sting is an amazing bike and its not worth trying to sell and then buy a Pro SS
@erickguzman2932 The best controller is the P24 at the moment, however, the best motor to pair it to is the MX3.Why?...because it is capable of 10,000 plus RPM while the MX4 motor is rated at 8,000 RPM due to it being IPM.
I would like to note when you are hitting that 10 second mark where it cuts out it is a pretty big cut out, kinda jarring. I turned my top speed down about 5-7 mph so as to not cut out.
KO is crap (all of their controllers), X9000 is as good as the VESC based options get, nucular stuff allows way more Diy things if you know whay you are doing, such as charging a battery with lower voltage than the battery voltage (such as from a car battery, i havent tried) and charging with solar panels, you can also control lights, fans etc if you connect a nucular Ulight to the controller and/or display...you can also run a nucular without the display and they have Bluetooth software coming...

@@Talariaboys I had a pretty hard case over a obstacle I felt like leaping over. I ended up landing on the factory metal skidplate. Cause my factory motor mount in one spot to crack apart. I ended up buying a KO moto RS motor and KO nano controller. Never planned on doing this but what the heck I love , really enjoy my surron. Got it all installed today bu 97% done. Got to work my job next couple days till I can finish up on Sat. I'm not looking for big gains but 12-15% more would be nice to feel.
I wonder how the P24f is compared to the original 24f. I see a lot of similarities, and I have a Sur Ron, I haven't been able to install it yet on my Sur Ron because I need a better cover and I can't really get a good cover for it still since they made it very crude back in the day. Nevertheless, good review.

I Have a nucular p24F on my mx4 and you can Set regenbrake with the brake Lever but this is only like on or off And you can have variable regenbrake via thumb throttle this is what i use and i love it Also when you stand still and then you pull the thumb throttle twice you have a reverse gear what is helpfull sometimes
Not usually, sometimes aftermarket controllers are slightly more efficient... usually a couple percent at most but not enough to really notice. Thanks for watching!

it won’t effect the range at all if your running the same power, but if you are pulling more power the range will decrease. When It cuts out it just goes back to the same settings as before it cut out. It’s actually a little faster than the E-Ride pro ss.

I have the warp 9 riser and warp 9 stem lock. Will the diplay still work? Also, it looks like the bms system was not out yet (said preorder on website). Is that the case?
When you install the display on other Position it should work It is a gopro mount So you only must find a other place to mount :-) Stem lock does Not work i think When only install direkt mount it should work So when you will Keep both You have to find a other way to mount the display

@@scottm.456 Yes under the screen next to where you hook the connection to the controller. It is a short cable (technically perfect length) so you have to mount on the bars. With no stem lock mount working I was going to mount the screen on the battery cover. Had to rig up for on the bars (and with me had to have it centered and still use my phone mount too). Quite the rigging job I did.

I was looking at the Torp since it did so well to improve a stock Sur-ron in the video I watched, and I heard they are going to be making them for Talaria soon. But this looks great too! Thanks for the video as always, fellas! Oh and of course you'd drop this a week before Christmas when I need to be DONE spending for a while, hah. I'll bet a firmware upgrade or two will get this thing exactly where it needs to be. Pricing and performance are important, but support is another important metric as you noted so perhaps since I'll have to pay for mine (lol) maybe I'll wait a few months and then make a decision. Too cold to do much riding for a while here anyway. :)

Yes you can drive without Display All settings are are saved on controller But you will Not know in wich Modus you are and also dont know your motor Temperatur and no battery Infos for your range But they work on a app So you can in future use you Phone as a Display and Set All settings with you Phone I do beta tests with the app at the moment so i removed my Display yesterday 😊

Yes that’s correct, but to us it feels like a lot more than that. We don’t know why but it feels more like 650 700 honestly once paired with a battery that can allow pulling that high. Stock Sting R battery cannot pull 500.

Sure, let me install a controller that will cut my motor off, going 50MPH. The fact that no one mentioned how dangerous this could potentially be, especially street riding, really makes me question your integrity wholeheartedly. Idk call me crazy, but if an expert wants to chime in, please enlighten me! I will admit if I'm proven wrong 😂😂
Well coming from someone who had this cut out on them actually doing 50 plus multiple times going strait and cornering it’s really not a big deal. It cuts out for a half a second and you still have full throttle control. You’re not getting stuck at an intersection or anything either.
If you are worried about the cutoff you can lower the battery amps. Nothing Nucular can really do its the stock battery causing it as it can't support that many amps for long causing the cutouts. They figured most riders would rather have the temporary power increase but then cutouts vs the lower overall amps, but you can decide yourself in the settings!

You will see some gains just like we did but your battery will not let you pull as much power as we are from the more powerful sting R battery

Not at the moment, the Pro SS has all different wiring and plugs to plug in the controller so maybe one day with an adapter.

That looped wire is connected to the stock controller... not the bike so when you install Nucular its no longer there...

You didn’t really. Your speedometer isn’t accurate or set to the right gear ratio setting. Test with a gps and it will be slower.
Do i need to bypass the stock batterie? & how much KW is possible on the stock talaria stinng mx3 with the stock batterie?
No need to bypass and we never recommend doing that! Mx3 should get around 8-9kw
Hey guys I know you will respond to me here idk why ive been trying to ask ebmx myself. but I have the talaria mx4 and I know I can run 11.5kw with this controller. but I want the ebmx because id want the full ebmx setup motor and battery. but if I cant run the same power with my stock battery with the ebmx i want the nucular. So thats what im asking since i know yall have both. Should I get the EBMX x-9000 v2 or the nucular for my talaria, keeping stock battery for a while

I have the warp 9 riser and warp 9 stem lock. Will the diplay still work? Also, it looks like the bms system was not out yet (said preorder on website). Is that the case?
When you install the display on other Position it should work
It is a gopro mount
So you only must find a other place to mount :-)

It was about 52 mph as well, there is some kind of limit in the controller we are trying to get around because it should be able to go much faster.

Thank you for the feedback. I was thinking about buying the new Torp controller, and then I saw this. I really appreciate the display, and I wish Luna sold the international display, but I guess this controller does seem to have some complications.
How much do you think the controller will effect the range with a stock battery when on the maximum setting?

And have the same range but more power and more fun

What's the situation with regen on that controller? Is there any adjustments? Does it accept a regen thumb paddle?
I have a paddle thumb brake on mine. Works well.

@@scottm.456 Yes under the screen next to where you hook the connection to the controller. It is a short cable (technically perfect length) so you have to mount on the bars. With no stem lock mount working I was going to mount the screen on the battery cover. Had to rig up for on the bars (and with me had to have it centered and still use my phone mount too). Quite the rigging job I did.

Nucular doesn’t but there are options from other manufacturers that will work with the this controller and Talaria

Yes it does but will have a little different power limits and won’t be as fast as the mx4 version
@@TalariaboysThanks for confirming! Man I am soo tempted to get one of these for my MX4 and then I could eventually move it to my MX3 if I decided to 72V the MX4. I was looking at the Torp since it did so well to improve a stock Sur-ron in the video I watched, and I heard they are going to be making them for Talaria soon. But this looks great too! Thanks for the video as always, fellas! Oh and of course you'd drop this a week before Christmas when I need to be DONE spending for a while, hah. I'll bet a firmware upgrade or two will get this thing exactly where it needs to be. Pricing and performance are important, but support is another important metric as you noted so perhaps since I'll have to pay for mine (lol) maybe I'll wait a few months and then make a decision. Too cold to do much riding for a while here anyway. :)

You would get lots of power like when we showed the 72v battery however you still wouldn’t get any faster top speed

Still only like 52 gps mph. We are working with them on fixing the rpm limit. We have been sending data and ride logs back and forth with Nucular!

Yes you can drive without Display
All settings are are saved on controller
But you will Not know in wich Modus you are and also dont know your motor Temperatur and no battery Infos for your range
But they work on a app
So you can in future use you Phone as a Display and Set All settings with you Phone
I do beta tests with the app at the moment so i removed my Display yesterday 😊

Yes that’s correct, but to us it feels like a lot more than that. We don’t know why but it feels more like 650 700 honestly once paired with a battery that can allow pulling that high. Stock Sting R battery cannot pull 500.

Sure, let me install a controller that will cut my motor off, going 50MPH. The fact that no one mentioned how dangerous this could potentially be, especially street riding, really makes me question your integrity wholeheartedly. Idk call me crazy, but if an expert wants to chime in, please enlighten me! I will admit if I'm proven wrong 😂😂
Well coming from someone who had this cut out on them actually doing 50 plus multiple times going strait and cornering it’s really not a big deal. It cuts out for a half a second and you still have full throttle control. You’re not getting stuck at an intersection or anything either.
If you are worried about the cutoff you can lower the battery amps. Nothing Nucular can really do its the stock battery causing it as it can't support that many amps for long causing the cutouts. They figured most riders would rather have the temporary power increase but then cutouts vs the lower overall amps, but you can decide yourself in the settings!
Not caused by the Nucular controller, thats the stock battery not being able to suply enough power for long...
