Love watching the way you simplify, lighten up and connect the pages.

Hi Miranda thank you so much!- I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Doing it as a sort of warm up, in the studio in this way has a different feel to it and certainly helps be less literal. Will see how it goes as I do more pages!

I love to see you working on this. There's a diversity and a unity in the same time.

Hi Dieneke - thank you for your lovely comments - I guess that’s what I’m after!!- difference but also unified! Fingers crossed I can have that in my paintings too!

Great to see the process and how it feeds in to both your practice and the project. Thanks.

Thanks Jan - it’s interesting isn’t it that by doing this in the studio, as a way of warming up and exploring; it creates a new angle on things. I like doing it in the studio as it’s a chance to nudge the abstraction .

Really interesting video Liz, seeing how the abstracted ramshackle emerged

Thanks so much Mary - I’m glad you enjoyed it. There’s an unpredictable nature to the technique that I like!

Thank you!- as you are aware, it’s hard to know where these will go ( and that’s part of the fun) - but not having a plan and not being too thinky is definitely part of it!

Thanks Leila I’m only at the planning stage and it won’t matter what your subjects are. It won’t have to be similar to mine.
