Hello! The best farm for meat is Invaded Harugasumi Way. Stags will give red meat, Leoporins will give cubed, and invading mushroom cow things will give sliced. Slapping on the Head/Feet of the harugasumi armor set will give hunter bonus, leg/hands of Fuyufugasumi(winter place?) set will give acquisition art, bottom left weapon of the weapon tree of any weapon will have connisuer (material rarity up) and acquisition art (material quantity up). And finally, spiral fern food (ferntail gecko pet kemono material) will supply more acquisition art. Nanahara Hills (the hills just outside Minato, spawn upwards of 10+ stags and leoporins in a small area, as well as being a condensed area for Sesame seeds, a strong crit/attack vegetable. Enjoy your farming!

Wow, this came out when I was begging to wonder if someone was going to make a food guide, glad it was Phem.

THANK YOU for this guide! Holy crap, I've been spinning my wheels trying to figure out how cooking works, and this guide was perfect. Why's it so needlessly complex? Hahaha

One nice thing is that unless you change zones/return to minato your buffs won’t run out… at least for longer than I’ve run into. Even from hunt to hunt, if you just return to camp, the buff stays!

Thankies my man :D I do not have smoker yet but this helps alot since I've been playing. I've been figuring out most of it by myself and I figured this is how it was set up but having a guide really helps :3

Ok but how the heck do you get soy? Like, obviously in fermenting cask, but what foods, cause I haven't found one yet and seeing the smoked soy rice in the store giving 22 freaking health for 40 fullness is insane.

Nice vid that explained alot I wasn't understanding. Did you delete alot of dragon karakuri to make all those smoker's? I'm only now getting my dragon pits to level 3 btw so I don't know how much fire and other resources you actually end up with. Thanks.

Sorry for second comment, but does anyone know if the non health buffs of the same food item stack? like if I eat a bunch of shittake (sh!t take😏… sorry I’m immature) mushrooms, will I get all those Sidesteppers, or am I just wasting them?
there doesn’t seem to be anywhere that shows your food buffs, at least not that I’ve noticed.

food storage boxes are too expensive… or at least more so than i’d like, at least where i’m. at in the game.
i like the food system in this. you can actually cancel your food buff at anytime, which is cool. i like that it’s always guaranteed, instead of a chance. nothing is more annoying in MH than not getting a food buff….
good guide tho. too many other youtubers putting out “crazy” build guides instead of more practical stuff like how this stuff works.
i noticed you had a lot of lamps placed, do those do anything or are the strictly ornamental? seems there are a lot of ornamental stuff amongst the dragon karakuri, but maybe i’m wrong and they do something? no idea 🤷‍♂️

You won’t really need complex food until you’re up against deeply volatiles, your gear and kudzuclad fox fruit is fine until that point

  • @Scytez

Thanks for the video. Shad some light into the food process that in this game is.... unnecessarily complex/complicated like u said....
I understand what they are trying to make here but the fact that storages are not universal and require you to go to different locations to get something that you want or even farm... It's inconvenient. I think they could make a better system in the future.

It just means the naturey bits like nuts and fruits and such. Kudzuclad fox is S tier for anyone progressing through the game that isn’t ready to do cooking yet because they give fruits with a respectable hp boost for how easy they are to get.

Love the work but can you add how much it fills you up? I've noticed that is the most difficult part. Some items you can eat 10 times others only a single time. So the base stats don't matter without the eat limit

everytime a hunting game comes out:
if its not complex: OMG its not complex like MH! BORING
If it's as complex as MH: Why is it so complex??? i hate this! MH is easier!!!!
crazy how people can't comprehend that this is a different game and not MH
    Good guide my guy

It's not even the share storage. I depressed as fu and stop play, I just don't care anymore the bug from the game really got and annoy me.
BTW I already got platinum in the game so I thoughts I really care about the game but nope the bug really fucked my mind and I fu hated it.
