I love visiting this park. I'm from Sweden and I only travel once every 2-5 years and then we always visit silver dollar city. But the best ride is lost river.
Every time I go, I ride american plunge. And every time I go, it feels like my face is gonna rip off when I fall and I tell myself not to go on it again. And then next year, you'd NEVER guess what I do 😅
Hopefully this will be the next "gut it and build a new modern one" event location at SDC. Get a boat similar to Splash Mountain at Disney. Tandem seating on rides is hated by the insurance industry.
They changed the music.. It used to be like patriotic music also it looks like it got sped up quite a bit. I used to practically live at SDC in the 90s. My Grandpa worked there.

I really want to ride American Plunge sometime but when I go to Silver dollar city in the summertime I always talk about riding American Plunge then when I get to that gate to where you can see people go down the drop I always get way too scared and decide to not ride American Plunge, I just really want to ride that ride sometime
@@alexishewett1746 it's not as scary as you think it is, trust me! I was nervous to ride it too, but it's honestly so much fun, and the drop only lasts a couple of seconds. You should definitely ride it next time you go 😆
