There are a few profound messages I have come across in this video. One of those profound messages is....."control what your judge is looking at." This method of handling, is certainly giving you the opportunity to learn how to control your judge's eye and placing you and your dog into the best position to ensure that occurs.

Thank you for your workshops and teaching videos!
I have a weimaraner that's like a wild stallion and this weekend we have shows. We will get to practice some of your tips there as well.

You keep talking about the flat link, I'm ok with it but worried for the skin of my dog since it is a hairless. It is still suitable for training? and at what age would you start to put it on? I have to THANK YOU so much for that Knowledge, you are saving me so much and help me to start things right!

The key to the flat link is that it never is tight on the dog. Watch this video to start

@@EricSalasworkshopsI don’t understand. You said be more fun and respectful. To who? I can’t get him to give ears. It is like he is trying to show love and submission to me. He is a super sweet dog.

@@karenkollmer Practice by telling him to stay and then throwing a toy or favorite treat out in front of him and telling him to watch it, then release him to get the toy/treat. Extend your time little by little, 5 seconds, 20 seconds, etc. Create excitement away from you.
