Love your tutorials. They are so helpful. Can you make a tutorial on how to sew with unprinted patterns. For beginners these patterns seem overwhelming and we could really use a tutorial on how to sew with unprinted patterns from pinning & cutting to sewing it together.
What a great way to start the morning. What a laugh! Thank you! It would take me longer to sew a wool skirt, because I would need a lining. Unless, of course I actually wanted to scratch myself silly in public. It looks lovely on you, by the way.
I made myself so many pencil skirts when I was a teenager I did not even need a pattern after a while and could cut one and sew it in less than an hour. Ah memories.
Hello sewoverit that was fun to watch can i sew this skirt with a longer length mini or midi skirts does not look good on me and do you have the pattern ? Also i love the Anderson blouse you are wearing can do you have the pattern for the blouse i find it difficult to download on pdf format. Hope to hear from you soon. Fantastic work and I believe you should join the British Sewing Bee you will do great
it was great watching you. perhaps you could do one hour projects like this often. I'm new to your channel I dont know if you have a series on 1 hour projects.
I'm a new subscriber but after watching this I think you should definitely go on The Great British Sewing Bee! The skirt is lovely and I hope to advance my skills soon.
I don't believe she'd be allowed because she's worked in sewing professionally, and I'm sure she'd be too busy what with the shops. But she is great at sewing :)
Hi Lisa! Thank you for your beautiful videos!! May I ask you something: Is there anything wrong if I first sew the back seam of the skirt (or dress etc) and THEN put the conceal or regular zip on?? This way I will rip off the seam where the zipper is going to be! I'm looking forward for your reply!
you - nice work but dont' tell measurements, like how far, how long the darts from centre or side, length, hips , waist etc of the garment to be stitched. Hey I am 66 plus and learning from videos like this. These will make your video better and much popular among viewers. These can be shown as sub-titles on screen.. Thanks
Hi Jitender, those are incredibly personal measurements to each individual person and every pattern is equally different from the next. Most of the information you are looking for can be found on the pattern back or with instructions on how to alter pattern, unless I totally misunderstand your questions/comments.
Jitender Vasudeva Me too! I am learning but I have the feeling a few lessons in person is going to be needed to make it all make sense of when to, where to how far to. However I really admire these ladies at such a young age being so talented.

"Fortunately my fabric is tea coloured, so it won't show..." Brilliant line! ;)
