The filter came off when you knocked it with the tweezers but didn’t notice it till it fell off the rest of the way but good to see you fixed it with a new one
35:55 Earlier on when you were probing the filters, you slipped for a second and whacked that filter and it visibly popped to the side, hence why it fell off later :) EDIT: Ahh, been pointed out a few times. Nevermind haha

I have often seen this technique with meter in diode mode, red probe to the ground and black probe to the parts for testing.. can you explain it to me, I did not comprehend it yet :-) Greetings, Michael
Yeah diode mode will basically test the voltage drop against 2 points. For example if you have little or no voltage drop those 2 points are connected together and can indicate a short. Diode mode will inject voltage across the line and van give you a very accurate reading very quickly
I changed the hard drive on my xbox one original to see if it was causing it to randomly shutdown and noticed the 7 pink polymer capacitors underneath it had big dents in them (not buldging). Would that cause it to shutdown or knacker hard drive

Is it always necessary to replace the heat shield over the IC when you're done working on it?
Think the coil got damaged at 19:53 with the probe, that's why it come off in the end.

The filter that came off, was knocked off the board @19.55, your missing USB lead, you used it to connect the multimeter.
