All good by me and I am sure the majority to pause whenever you need to, to get yourself comfortable... reckon if anyone has a problem with it there is an easy solution... switch off! Back to the video, these are so fun, I likey.... thank you so much for sharing...
Your weekly project was intubated and inspiring today. I love the use of pieces of fabric. I really must get over being so envious of all your old Fabric and antique books and papers. I love what you do and so does the gal from Australia who has the journal nest. She is able to afford your antique pages and she just loves the way you create she even said she hears your voice when she's creating. Now that's a real fan. Blessings and love from New Mexico
So much fun and they turned out beautifully! Going to try this technique today. Thank you Rachel for the inspiration. Also, I can’t imagine how excited you must be to be able to say…”I have my own fabric” 🥰
You've convinced me, Rachel. Before the end of the video I had collected up some fabric scraps , labels, and ephemera bases. Now to get busy. 😁 ❤ Belinda
Fun, fun, fun!!! These are so fun and amazing!!! I will be having a super fun and busy weekend because my greatgranddauters, 3 & 6 will be staying with me! Their mama is traveling to a friends house for a fun birthday party! Take care and have a fun weekend too💜💜💜💜💜
These turned out lovely! I am eager to give it a try, but I always find this kind of thing a little bit difficult. But like you said, you have to get started and then it gets easier. Happy weekend to you and the family!
Rachel: being an interior designer, I have a lot of old ephemera left over from past jobs. I need to go back to my file archives and see what I can gather and use. I might even surprise myself. Haha. Carol from California
Hi, Rachel. This is Patricia. This is my son’s account. Our modem died, which we had to set up an appt to get a new one, which is Tuesday, so I have his iPad, which I never used before, always windows. But I like it. I’m so glad you chose the page from your English country garden to put on fabric. And that page ranks in my revolving top 3 favorite pages of all my kits. It prints like a dream. I use it all the time. I love making … I don’t know what to call it. I print borderless US letter the same page on each side on card stock, then fold the two ends over to meet in the middle, and I put a pad of paper in the center and three small pockets on each side. I switched from HP to canon in 2021. All printers have canon components because they hold the patent. The difference is that the other companies can add different features. Of course, I lost everything in storage and so I bought a canon 7100, which only has the printer, and I bought a canon I paid 30 bucks for in a 2 day sale that has the scanner. The print quality is great but the 30$ doesn’t print borderless, so I use it for ephemera and printing in black and white. I will give you one tip, look under the bar that holds the ink cartridges and see if it has this sponge type material, read your manual, but that should be taken out and cleaned every few months. You run it under warm water. A hint take a picture before removing .. the black ink leaves the most residue because it throws the ink out to the side of the printing area. That’s why laser printers do not print borderless. I did an antitrust case on printers. That I can remember, where I put my glasses, is anyone’s guess … usually resting on my nose! Sorry about the long comment. You and Sara are just the cutest girls ever. You both need to kiss your mom because she is so young looking and you girls look like you are 30!
I did watch your sister once when it was storming and I have to say that was the hardest hearing rain that I’ve I mean it was loud and she just kept on going like it was nothing
You never fail to inspire ❤️ these are amazing. I could see the big ones being sample fabric journal pages in a signature…Thanks for sharing. It’s pretty hot here in Texas. Today should reach 103 f.
So pretty, Rach! I think this one is going to be a challenge for me, but that’s the point isn’t it? Good to stretch beyond what is comfortable sometimes. I’m excited to give it a go! Thank so much for all your time and effort to inspire us! ❤
I love, love, love this project! It is so fun to make things like this, right up my alley! I think Tina at Shabbydabbydoodah was the one to inspire the bigger ledger pages you did before. I love every piece you made. I went to get the tags you used from my digital stash of your kits and realized it was the one of the few kits I don’t have.. lol! 🤣 I went and bought it so I can make some too. I have the other pieces you used already! So excited to make some! Thanks for making these. 💕😊🌷
You sound like me right now. Just busy, busy, busy. I’m glad you have some time for us though. I do love your videos. Thanks for the awesome inspiration. ❤😊
Cannot wait to get my hands on the linen prints. No way you could throw out those extra bits. Holy moly!❤❤ Really pleased you went with Italian cotton and linen. I tried having special prints produced at S flower and was thoroughly disappointed
In answer to your weather question, we are having hot weather without the humidity at this time. I sometimes think the off prints are more fun than the real thing. 🙃
So much fun, Rachel! I remember you making those a couple years ago, but I didn’t have very much fabric. I just got back from a visit with a Crafting friend who gave me so much fabric so they were so much fun to make today. Thank you for these weekly challenges. I love them!
