    Sad that Smokejumpers doesn't have the Monte Cristo anymore. It was the only one at DCA. :( Will definitely not be eating there again without it.

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад +1

      They had a Monte Cristo? That sounds way to upscale for Smokejumpers. 😂 I know Cafe Orleans has one, it's their signature dish, but that's a sit down restaurant compared to Quick Service.

    • @Eunity16
      @Eunity16 Год назад

      @SoCal Disney Dad yep! We ate there in 2021 solely for the Monte Cristo since we missed the timeline for reservations to get one at DL and the walk up lines were full.

    it would be nice to see a video on healthy eating or high protein meals

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  6 месяцев назад

      The only high protein, low carb meal at the whole resort is Bengal BBQ. You can get meat skewers that are just meat and sauce.
      Everywhere else has some degree of unhealthy with the meat, such as breaded chicken tenders or a bun.
      They do have salads here and there, and soups, but those aren’t high protein.

    Thank you again Traver! I never realized how many food options there were at the park! I am stunned to see so many places to eat, but what I would like to see is a video on plant-based options . What are really good plant-based meals available? And I'm not just talking salads 😂

      I’ve started doing this on all my future food videos. I’m working on a vegan video right now and including all prices.
      Prices are subject to change at any time, which is why I didn’t include them before, but have had a few comments like this requesting them, so I’ve added them in per request!

    Perhaps weird question - but curious about the 60 day wait to make our dining reservations for the 1st day or initial arrival day. Is it like a multi flight trip and needing to wait 24 hrs prior to first flight to book your seats for ALL your flights.
    Will we be able to book dining for all our 5 days once at the 60 day mark for our arrival day, or do we need to log in and try every day for 5 days, 60 days before each of those dates too.
    Hope that makes sense. Thx tons 😂

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад +1

      Great question. Short answer: I have no idea.
      Long answer: Walt Disney World allows booking of ADRs for your whole trip on the first day. IF, and that’s a big IF, Disneyland allows it, it’s only going to be for Disney hotel guests who’ve booked packages through them.
      But my guess is that you’ll need to login every day at the 60 day mark for all 5 days of your visit. Because I don’t think Disneyland offers that like WDW does. But I’ve never stayed on-site to know for certain.

      @@SoCalDisneyDad thx tons for your reply and you were right. - no go at DL.
      Firstly, yes you need to log in everyday to book 60 days from TODAY, then 60 days from TOMORROW etc for all 5 days - total pain in the butt since the account shows we have 5 days of Park Reservations and are staying at a resort hotel the whole time: very frustrating PLUS I was told to start looking to book at 6am PST so I have waking up everyday early to make that happen & many things are still gone by 601a. Guest Services on Chat yesterday told me that they ‘dribble out’ the reservations from 1- 60 days AND many things open at 1am PST for booking. INSANE, right, who knew this. But it worked… I did it this morning FINALLY got reservations for our Princess Breakfast on our very last day after trying for 5 solid mornings. Thanks tons for your videos and assistance. #Weareinthistogether LOL

    is it indicate what foods are gluten free?

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад

      Yes. If you visit the menu for each restaurant, you can scroll down (it's a ways down) and see the Gluten-Free menu options. Here's an example: disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disney-california-adventure/pym-test-kitchen/menus/lunch-and-dinner/
      If you check from the app, and hit Order Food, you can select any restaurant (even now, when you're not in the park) and the order screen will appear. There's a button for Allergies that will take you right to it. That's probably the faster way to do it.
      We did a Gluten-Free video a few months ago where we went the whole day and ate exclusively off the gluten-free menu. You can check that out here: ruclips.net/video/Evt-ed3Eb_0/видео.html
