  • Joel Pettit - private PEB attorney, and former JAG and government FPEB appellate attorney - discusses a disturbing method some PEB Liaison Officers (PEBLOs) are using to reduce the number of MEB Rebuttals in an effort to save case processing time. This means Service members are having their chances to question the Military’s conclusions regarding their potentially unfitting cut off at a critical juncture in the IDES process.

I think this just happened to me. The summary was released to me and i was told by PEBLO i need to agree to tdrl or elect to appeal the tdrl recommendation. And that i had 6 days to do so. Odc said my appeal wasnt due yet until after i had a F-PEB which the FPEB request was the only thing due and appeal documents were due after my FPEB. My PEBLO seems to be using my case to ego boost and even when i sent appeal and med documents and 3 va c&p exams from the last 3 years, all rating me the same 30% my PEBLO only sent 2 of the documents instead of all 16. & The IPEB came back and asked questions that would have been answered and thwy are unaware that i already had 3 va c&p exams in 22, 23, & 24. IPEB only used 2024 and decided tdrl due to lack of history of stability & PEBLO said one thing and did another now i have a FPEB. I'm making arrangements to remove these people from being my reps. My peblo wont even give me my Jan 2024 exam notes & onstead is holding it as if I'm not allowed to have it for me records. The MSC did the same. Im trying to prep for FPEB but they're holding info that can help me get a PDRL and be on my way. Definitely send an email to request help next week
