I have a masking technique that will work great next time you do a sunburst. After spraying your amber, let it dry for a day. Make a mask for the center portion of the guitar from something fairly stiff like cardstock. make some loops of tape and stick them to the body, then place the cardstock masks on top of those loops/ You want somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 an inch gap between the body of the guitar and the masks. This will allow a little bit of spray to get in there making for a tighter demarcation line than freehand but still have some fade. If you want a fuzzier line between the two colours spray more in towards the center and you could also make the gap between the mask and the body bigger for more spray to get in.T his technique works great for my fine scale modeling and I'm sure with a bit of experimenting it will work well for you too. Cheers!
