    Sana ang subic conceptual development planning 2017 ay matuloy din tulad ng bgc at clark. Hahakot din ito ng maraming foreign tourist in addition sa marami na natin tourist attraction.

    This project is actually superb. About the multi-culture block, I think at least it would be better to focus on Filipino culture and not the foreign ones. Sadly those foreign culture tend to overshadow ours even in our own land, so instead for the tourist to enjoy and experience OUR culture they choose the foreign's even if they are in the Philippines. Also, the Chinese town is taking too much space, they're so obvious, my goodness. I think the Filipinos are not too into Chinese culture there's a lot of Korean and Japanese fans more here if I may say so.

    Tanggalin yang mga Chinese towns, kung talagang diversity ang point nila one city of China is enough. Very possible tong project now that Duterte is the president. When he step down....kokorapin lang yan ng mga bagong uupo. Kawawa na naman si Juan.

    The Chinese towns took too many spaces. What about the Scandinavian, Latin, EU,Indian, UK,Aussie towns, etc? They are encroaching too much. They should call the areas districts instead of towns.

    • @edmhie1
      @edmhie1 7 лет назад +4

      If not China who else? The U.S.? The U.S. has been there for several decades and did not offer to developed it, instead they developed prostitution. It only shows the Americans are one-sided, they only used the place for their own interest. It's good that President Duterte kicked them out.

BUt it's really an amazing concept for Subic and the whole Zambales, which ever since a pride of Central Luzon. Bye crowded Manila. Hello to Clark and Subic. But there is still hope for Manila as main financial district of the Philippines :-)

    CHINESE TOWNS ARE TOO MUCH. Philippines don't really have much Chinese influence at all compared to other Asian cities. Why so many chinese districts?
    This sounds fishy. We already have a chinatown in Manila. Isn't that enough for chinese thing?
    These towns should instead be a livable cultural filipino towns like the ones in Las Casas in Bataan not some replicas of those foreign towns.

      I love the idea because it brings each culture together in the Philippines and for me as a Filipino I want philippines to look more “Asia” not “America” I want it to be unique and brings each cultural town together is a beautiful thing. I just don’t want to much war about this.

    I thought of the concept before, but different concept. I wished for the Philippine to build park landmark icon of different cities of the world like: Eiffel tower of France, Statue of liberty in New York, Space Needle of Seattle, Taj Mahal of India, Pyramid in Egypt, Anchor Wat of Cambodia, Colosseum of Rome, Leaning Tower of Pizza etc, etc.

    • @thwb4661
      @thwb4661 7 лет назад +8

      no. there's no need for that. what we need to build should be about history and cultural preservation. restore Manila, Iloilo City, Baguio City, Cebu City and Vigan, as cultural, historically preserved cities. It would boost tourism economy and it will restore the city's identities. Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Vigan being hispanic cities and Baguio and Subic being American influenced cities.

    The Manila Bay Bridge will enclose the natural bay landscape of Manila Bay. It will be a nuisance like Torre de Manila. I just don't like the idea. I'm okay with the Subic Bay Bridge but Manila Bay bridge? That's not a good idea coz it destroys the view and the design of the bridge is too generic as well so nope.
    And incorporate traditional architecture. this is the problem of many real estate companies. We should gear towards Filipino revival of bahay na bato architectural styles and indigenous designs. Preserve Filipino architectural designs, it will have more benefits to cultural tourism as well, not just building generic and almost similar buildings. I'm okay with the modernist style in high rises but the housing and mid-rise buildings should be distinctively filipino, specifically "Arquitectura Mestiza Filipina" like the ones in Las Casas.. Filipinos should learn to appreciate our own

      No it's not. That Manila Bridge will highlight more the Manila Bay and will ease the traffic going back and forth of Subic, which later on will provide economic stability for both places of Greater Manila and Zambales, exrending to Bataan and Cavite which for sure will benefit on this project.

    • @mrnoname315

      it will become an architectural wonder if done right. besides napakalayo niya sa mga population area at mga pinupuntahan ng tourist so in the first place wala naman masyado nagpupunta dun sa area na yon. building the bridge will help overall.

    How about one that represents Philippine cultures? Why all these international facades? It makes it seem so fake? Like there's not much Philippine identity which are a lot you can see throughout the country. Is it because it looks too "poor" or not nice to look at enough? Look at KL Malaysia...even their modern buildings reflect from their cultures (their towers are good example). Seriously...

    • @KOKO-hy5wn
      @KOKO-hy5wn 5 лет назад +1

      Aglaya Majorem and as a Filipino I’m sad that our culture isn’t really big and phenomenal culture in a way and I actually love these multicultural blocks they represent that we as Philippines love others cultures and traditions. I wish philippines would have their own culture in a way. But this is great for philippines economy and it’s tourism.

    The Chinese block, the Japanese block, the Russian block, the Thai block, the American block??? This is the Philippines so why all those foreign blocks???
    Sorry but I hate it!!!
    Take that away and I think the rest of the plan is good!

  • @1RockRoyalty1
    @1RockRoyalty1 4 года назад

    You need to scrap the Multicultural Block. It's a stupid concept. This doesn't serve and advance the Filipino culture and architecture. If people want to see a Chinatown and other towns, let it happen naturally when those people settle in certain parts of the city instead of building it artificially. Besides, why is it necessary to build specific towns just to copy other parts of China? This is Subic Bay and it should be built for Filipinos and foreigners who wish to live there. It should not built to appease the Chinese alone. It should have a Filipino look, feel and vibe instead of being overwhelmed by Chinese influence. Foreigners don't travel to the Philippines to see a bunch of Chinese towns. If they want to do that, they can go to China which is only a few hours away by plane. Do foreigners travel to Thailand to see Chinese towns? NO! So why should this happen in the Philippines?
