- On this episode of Behind the Bricks, IMS President Doug Boles shows you what’s been going on at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the offseason and how your fan experience will be improved this May! IMS has put in a lot of work around the track, and you’ll learn about updated viewing mounds, new TVs, a refreshed Scoring Pylon, an expanded Midway Zone and so much more!

Thanks Doug, Roger, and all the hard working folks at IMS! Any chance you guys will include a quick-to-glimpse, easy-to-read running order at places around the track? The square tower in Turn 4 used to be perfect for the snake pit, Turn 3, and Turn 4 folks. Now we have to watch the ever scrolling big screen and miss some on track action. Thanks again and looking forward to May!
I think IMSA should drive on the horseshoe but camping is cool too.

I like these videos. I would like to see the seating areas numbers changed to make sense. I know there numbered from historical reasons but still very frustrating as new or intermittent visitors.

I think renaming them is unlikely, what is possible though, and what I hope they do, is continue to improve the wayfinding signs to help figure out what seating area is where from where you currently are

I applaud the improvements. Are there any future plans to reconstruct the Grandstand E Penthouse in the same model that was used for the Paddock, A, and B Penthouse reconstruction prior to the 2016 race?
Wish you wouldn't have but the stands for the dirt track facing into the setting sun. Doesn't make sense for an event that happens in the evening.
When you said changes ,I was thinking what ? But your doin' good.
Hopefully you can put a mobile video board on the the oval backstretch for The 500 like we had in 2016 thru 2018

Can u talk about the quarter midget race or what is now the NASCAR Youth Series when they come. I’ll be there and it would be cool to see that on YT.
The more events that are only shown on pay/streaming services, the smaller your viewership will be. You kids may want to consider your fans moving forward.

They butchered the road-course pretty bad…
Re-Pave the Apron. Then re-install the Kerbs for the Indy 500.
Then bring back the Brickyard 400.
And Install Lights around the Track as insurance for the 500 and run Said Brickyard 400 at Night! Just my 2 cents.

Met him in 2018 and tried to deal with him on several occasions afterwards. Never a reply - not once. NOT impressed with the man.

The chicane is stupid remove it. Use the three corners for the F1 races. They are stubborn and never coming back
