Can I suggest a episode on the flower boxes for speed cameras on the exit of 4, who suggested them, why and when did they start?

True that! They have been running that camera angle since the 1980s at least

I give you credit Doug! As a former photographer out at IMS for 20 years... Climbing up and down into those places (especially over turn one) is not easy -- especially in a suit!

As someone other than a pro photographer, I am now starting to learn why folks say "enough, Mr. Doug"; I sub to all IMS social stuff, but I'm at the point where I'm inclined to agree with these 'other folks'. This track has developed years of mystique on its own; best to admit the same so that you can offer an inner look no one else can have. If you agree with me on that, then let it be a fantastic offer - preferably, one that no one else can duplicate; and since we're just taking deep dives on IMS itself, something that simply will NEVER be duplicated - then let the host be willing to admit the same in a manner we can see & feel in video. Like a Lucas film. Anything that crosses over... beyond the film to say (perhaps) the exact same words Mr. B does... but it's more real or more relevant to the audience.
Man. Representing THAT track in THIS day & age of motorsports... what a nearly God-given winning lottery ticket THAT is.
CFOs Unite! (and instead of picking one of us to carry the torch, let's consider what CMO suggests lol).

I hope I'm not being nosy, but I was wondering if Doug Boles is any relation to Sherman Boles who was the mayor of Newcastle, Indiana? Maybe someone will know. My mom went to school with Mayor Boles.

Should show the long shot from 4 to 1 of the cars going into the corner more. It's the best angle the track has to show their speed as they flick left for the turn and dart across the screen

@@healthyone100 its actually not in that situation. The course is barely played now. Penske knows he would make more if it were affordable. He does not care. He wants it to be exclusive. Racing is often not about the money. It is often about prestige and a pp measuring contest.

Thanks Kevin

iconic is becoming an overused word... each description of iconic becoming less & less iconic with each blurting of the word...
