Tony should've retired soon after his baddest lost to justin had he retired he'd have prevented his losing streak as well as his MMA career stats would've been really wonderful. I really admire fighters in their 40s and older who are still competing against much younger, stronger opponents. The body tends to change starting at age 40, with declines in testosterone, muscle mass, and bone density etc.. all those who didn't take care of their bodies in their younger years, physical deterioration can be more intense compared to those who regularly exercised,consumed proper nutritional diet and maintained their fitness before their 40's tony who's 40 now took the best decision it could've been taken earlier but better late than never
Even as a Tony fan, its pretty apparent that Tony has an egomaniacal, narcissistic personality! At this point everyone's only tuning in to see him lose again and again. Hes stealing the spotlight from the newer generation of fighters who deserve the same media attention that Tony is still getting.

I think the opposite. The way I see it him insisting fighting after a 7 loss streak could be an attemp to reignite the kindle snuffed inside himself.
