And even if she was she filmed thanksgiving in the middle of filming the Family in France (meaning she purposefully flew back to LA to film that episode alone). She would have been in the episode if she was invited but it was obvious she wasn’t.
This should be a tribute to humanity itself; each and everyone of us. We all have the potential, the ability, to be someone's angel; their inspiration to reach higher ground, but most don't know their own glorious worth. Take a few of those 'moments so dear' to remind yourself...to someone, you are everything, to someone, you are special...why shouldn't it be you?

Given that Lea and Cory were engaged in real life, the fact that Lea/Rachel even showed up later in the episode is truly remarkable for her. Naya got so much of this episode because Lea was so broken about it. (Fyi. that bit came from Naya's book and is the only reason I know that)
