My brother has been a Raiders fan since at least 1967 (he was a kid), and he’s been loyal to them right up until last week. After that game, he told me he was thinking about backing some other team. I was beyond shocked. He’s fed up with McDaniels, thinks Carr is much better than Jim G., and can’t believe what’s happening to Adams. I’ve never liked McDaniels. We’d both love to see McDaniels get fired ASAP!

Carr is a bum. Raiders did the right choice long term. Carr was going no where and you could see Raiders had a good team but Carr was holding them back. Sometimes you have to lose to win. I been Jaguars fan since they came into the league and I know how it feels to have a shit team. We went from clown town to pound town within a year. You think it was easy being a Jaguars fan for past 25+ years? Now look at them, they got rid of shit Bortles, Ramsay ect... Had 2 TERRIBLE years but now they have a team that plays as a unit. Sometimes going through the struggle is what creates greatness.

but he's had a bad AC joint, zero run game and a terrible (injured) OL - we saw that offense go off last week and as they get healthy it'll only get better
he had this Raiders offense (with an injured Waller/Renfrow) 12th in the NFL in scoring DESPITE having the 4th least amount of possessions in the NFL (horrible defense, no takeaways, etc)
it was a massive downgrade to let Carr go (for literally nothing btw) in place of Jimmy
They were 12th in scoring because of josh jacobs running for league lead in yards, having carr would not fix the run game. Also the saint offense only goes off against bad opponents, like they looked good against pats and colts because both those teams suck. Carr was not worth 40 million a year last year, and Sants paid a man 35 million year to be worse than andy dalton. They would of been better off signing baker mayfield, raiders probably would been better off doing that too.

Carr to Jimmy G isnt an upgrade. Its not even a lateral move. Carr isnt a top 5 guy, but he's a guy you'll win games with regardless of who you are as a coach. Including squeaking out shocking wins against hands down better teams like KC.
Jimmy G can't do that. He can't even stay healthy. He can't even miss games an not lead the league in INTs. He is an absolute step down the ladder.
Carr's upper mid tier, some years even top 10. Jimmy can never be that without the right guy (Shannahan, prime Bellicheck) and this year enforces what the niners have known since 2019
Yeah everyone forgets that Carr made an actual miracle happen in 2021 by getting that cursed raiders team to the playoffs, although rich Bissacia definitely helped

I was expecting DA to do more this year but the offense seems to be using him to draw single coverage more than getting him open on schemes and concepts

@@hs5331 He was open non-stop, but the OP is right, they arent using him as a typical WR 1 in their scheme. I counted, and there was 6 drives that DA was not even LOOKED at by Jimmy G.. That is unacceptable when you have literally one of the best WR in the league on your team. Jimmy G is just not that good of a QB, and his limitations are even more obvious in such a terrible offensive scheme.

On the bright side, McDumbass did get us Demaryius Thomas and Von Miller who helped with two SB appearances and one SB win. Adams isn't the receiver for a Jimmy G lead team. He can't throw the deep ball or throw towards the sidelines consistently. Shanahan had to scheme everything for the middle of the field. Also, the Jimmy G bone head interception is always looming. Adams should get out asap.

He put on almost the exact same show of frustration as Devante at the Cardinals game on Sunday, after he had targets but no catches and was getting hurt. How can people blame McDaniels play calling when all I see is wide open Adams and TEs but a QB that can’t hit anyone?
I am a Raiders fan, the problem is....run the ball, we had 1 drive that was focused on running, it resulted in a touchdown. If the Raiders stick with the run consistently they win. I blame McDaniels because garapolo is not better than Carr, and his play calling is killing the defense.
Definitely a lot deeper than that…Jacob’s is averaging less than 4 yards per carry

I thought Aaron Rodger's interview a couple of weeks ago was very insightful saying that Davante Adams is going to be covered really well but he needs to be utilized better however, I think that is discounting the fact that you need a QB capable of threading the needle accurately to get a WR the ball when he's double or even triple covered. I think Adams works well when he had bond with his QB like did with Rodgers & Carr. If he can develop the same with Jimmy G. maybe things will turn around but I think that is overly optimistic.

At this point even John Gruden was a better head coach than Josh McDaniels. Besides all the off the field stuff that Gruden did at least he actually kept his team in competition and players actually liked him. Josh is burning that organization down and Mark Davis might have to sell the team in a couple years if Josh does not get fired.

The ONLY reason Adams went to the Raiders is because he wanted to play with his college QB, Derek Carr. The Raiders knew this, but got rid of Carr anyway. Maybe Adams ought to sit out the rest of the season with Turf Toe!!!!!!
