My dad worked at Lone Mtn's Huff Creek mine for years and then went to the Darby mine. I worked for Lone Mountain at the Cloverfork mine for about 6 years. I personally remember Thurman H. I seen D. Shackelford in here too
I'm a second generation electrician coal miner here in KY and there's nothing more true than this comment. I was in a 32" seam of coal and when ya gotta shit you have to lay on your side and shit nothing explains what kinda of day a miner has had working in the mines especially low coal.
@@scottbaker4314 I've been topside at some low coal mines in Harlan, I couldn't imagine working in that for a full shift. I'll continue to be grateful for our 10'x10' drifts out here!
