    Might be worth a mention, but blactail respond very well to a running sinker, as light as possible. They also really easy to catch on circle hooks, simply lift your rod tip to set the hook on the solid pull when you feel the weight of the fish. Blacktail are valiant fighters especially on light tackle. Last point is keep your bait quite small. Big baits they tend to knock and bump, while swallow and hit a smaller bait harder. A small float can lift your bait above the weeds and adds extra attraction.

    Hi Ray can u name a productive spot for bronze bream not far from durban having no luck with them 😕🎣

    • @TheKingfisherFishing
      @TheKingfisherFishing  2 года назад +2

      Try the Seabelle area, it's not too far from Durban. There is a lot of great reef structure and weed beds for the Blacktail. But be mindful, parking can be unsafe.

    Howzit can yall make a trace for sailfish

    • @TheKingfisherFishing
      @TheKingfisherFishing  2 года назад +1

      Sailfish are a tricky species. They're quite difficult to target directly, most of the time we catch them it's on a Couta trace or a live bait intended for a tuna. You can pull konas for them like you would for Dorado and Marlin.
