- This time, we will show you a video of Kanba Falls Natural Park in Okayama Prefecture. Kanba Falls is a famous waterfall that is the largest in the Chugoku region, with a height of 110m and a width of 20m, and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Waterfalls in Japan." It goes without saying that the waterfall flows down the cliffs in a spectacular way, and the spray of the water that looks like it is wrapped in white cloth has a mysterious beauty. A black rock protrudes from the center of the waterfall, and it is called "Koi Rock" because it resembles a carp climbing up the falling water against the spray. Wild Japanese monkeys live in the surrounding area and will greet you with a lot of charm. Along the way, you will also find Tamatare Falls, where the scenery resembles raindrops falling from a thatched roof, which is very emotional. The valley forest is also wonderful, and the fresh greenery in early summer and the autumn leaves are spectacular. Okayama Prefecture's nationally designated scenic spot is also designated as one of the 100 Best Waterfalls in Japan and one of the 100 Most Beautiful Sceneries in Japan.
[About Monkeys]
Monkeys are not kept in the park. Because they are wild animals, they spend time in the mountains during the season when there are many wild strawberries and nuts, so there are days when there are no monkeys in the park. Pets are not allowed in the park.
