thank you thank you thank you. I have been crying about polarity but this has really helped and I actually understand it now. I wish more professors would teach like you.
My son got full marks for this part of the test. I had been searching for an easy method and bumped into your video. Glad I did! I was able to help my son. Thank you so much!!
BANGER VIDEO! I can answer every single chemistry question and understand all material related to polar and non polar. My chem teacher could never explain it as well as you did!
Have been searching all over RUclips. I didn’t understand why some didn’t work out. I came across your video. Your method really works. I am going to reach my son. I am sure he will A’s the test. Thank you so much!! You are amazing!
This is really helpful. After the semester being moved online in March because to COVID, I felt like I didn't learn much from CHEM I. Now that I am in CHEM II I have felt confused, but this made much more sense to me!
You're in CHEM II? I am in Chem I and they are expecting me to learn this stuff. This video really does help a lot! I will take CHEM II next semester. I wonder how it's like.
I can not thank you enough! This video and your video on drawing Lewis Structures have made things so much easier to understand for me. You are great, and your videos have probably saved my grade in chemistry now!
4.5/5 Understanding , What I learned: very hard for molecule to be nonpolar, non polar if the molecular shape around central atom has no lone pairs or if it does its either square planer or linear, 2 all atoms around the central atom are the same.
thank youuu sooo much for saving meeeeeeeeeeee. You're heaven sent. I was struggling to grasp this basic foundational concept after watching countless of videos on youtube then I came across you and you made it all make sense. Then I watched your other videos on other materials I didn't understand and you're different from the rest. Your brain should be in a museum. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOUUUUU!!!
Thank you so, so much! I did great on my test after watching this video and a few others on your channel. I’ve been struggling with this unit, and you really helped me pull through my test.
What a perfect explanation! Could you please clarify also this case for N2H4? Since here we have 2 same central atoms, and the molecule is symmetric, the dipole moments should cancel each other.
This video is so so helpful!! Thank you for simplifying this concept! I have a question. What about when you have c2h2f2? Because that can be drawn as a cis or trans. And we learned that the cis is polar but the trans is non polar. Do you mind explaining that example!
Do you have any videos walking through this using the structure formula (Not sure if that's the correct term. The one with the hexagons...lol). I realize that's probably redundant because It;s explaining the same concept but I'm having trouble grasping a quick way to look at those models and conclude if they are polar or nonpolar. >.
I think SBr2 is polar. Sulfur has 2 lone pairs with 2 Bromine atoms on the side. Even though SBr2 matches with the rule that all atoms are the same, it does not fit the lone pair rule.

Why is water polar if it's central atom oxygen has no lone pair of electrons. And all the atoms around it are same ?!!!
@@irshadirshad6510it has 2 lone pairs
@@irshadirshad6510 there are lone pairs around the central oxygen, look up h2o lewis structure
@@irshadirshad6510 In h2o oxygen has 3 lone pairs but you prob alr know by now
omg, finally after an hour trying to figure out how to determine polar or nonpolar, finally i got it!! big thanks~
this is the most legendary chem video i have ever seen.

4am and I got a chem test tmr, I don’t understand the polar non polar stuff but this video is a life saver. I appreciate it
saved my life thank you so much!
I think that is one of the best videos out there explaining this
I am sharing this with everyone in my class struggling with polar and non polar. Thank you good sir.
thank you, thank you!!!! I have a very important chem test coming up this Thursday, and Im studying my bottom off preparing for it, and this helped!!

I finally got a better understanding of this because of your amazing video! Thank you so much!!🙏🏻🙏🏻
OMG!! This is so helpful, just took me 7 mins to watch and solve my 2 hours problem!!
Thanks a lot . It helped me to strengthen chemical bonding in my neet preparation
this saved me. first concept In chem two and already felt dumb, but this helped so much!
Thank you so much!! My teacher's text book made this so difficult to understand and after watching your video before the exam I finally understand!!!
Thank you so, so much! I did great on my test after watching this video and a few others on your channel. I’ve been struggling with this unit, and you really helped me pull through my test.
YOU. ARE. THE. BEST.
thanks for helping me ace chem!
thank you, you made it so much easier for me 😭
your a life saver keep ur stuff up man bless ur soul
This was the only video that I understood, thank you so much you literally saved my life and grade 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
unbelievable
Finally i got this thing
unlimited thanks sir❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing video. I finally understood this. Thank you. 🙏🏻
thanks alot....it was really helpful for my engineering entrance exam
Sir you have saved my life.
works great the only molecule that I had trouble using this strategy was c2h2
This is full proof 🔥💯💯
Thanks sir really helpful 😊
Simple as that! Thank you
THANK YOU. manifesting a good life for you sir.
thanks for the video, the way you explain it ,is much easier

ty! i used this for my hw and it helped tons
Now this is what I call excellent 👌
I was literally crying because I was lost in this polar and none polar stuff. Thankkkkkk you for this video it helped me get through
thank you mr. after searching alot i just success to understand
you made it so incredibly easy! thank you!
Thanks for making it simply
This just saved me, soooooo helpful thank you so much !!!
God after 2 yrs of suffering and pain am at ease . Thank you bro

you are so underated. thanks
Ur truely amazing 👏👏.... I got my doubt crystal clear man!
Wow explanation million of thnx
Thank you so much man!!!
Helped a lot! Thank you.
This was so helpful! Thank you!
Wowwwww, that saved my life!
Thank you, make it simple
thanks
you are literally amazing thank youu
Thank you!Very useful!!
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING TO ME I NEEDED THIS
Hey it is really helpful! Thank you
Can u explain the polarity of agcl, sf3, cacl2
you sir, are quiet useful, i appreciate it dearly my brother As-salamu alaykum
do you know a way to determine which one is more polar than the other?
Thank you
Thank you so much! This was a very informative and helpful video
Wow thats amazing
Thank you so much!
Thanks teacher
Yaa it's good. It's helpful.
Damn man, you're a life saver. Thank you so much.
So helpful thanks so much
thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!
hello.. what about TiO2, is that polar or non polar? thanks
Urgh finally.... Thank you sir 🫡
How to apply this for ch3ch2och2ch3? This is non polar but if we follow the rule above this is polar
Thank you, I appreicate the help
Thank you dawg
THANK YOUUUUUUU

THANK YOU SO MUUUUUUCH.
Thankyou soo much. !!!!!!
When does ionic come into play?
U just saved my life 😭
Thank you🌠
So helpful!
Thank you soooo much !!!
How does this work for PClF5?That's nonpolar, even though the atoms aren't all the same around the central atom.
i. am. in. love. with. this. man
THANK YOU!
omg thank you so much
sir is H2N2 polar or nonpolar? why does my prof say it cancels out and is nonpolar
This is for the overall of finding NPC and PC
I don't think why so stupid videos get million views, likes, comment but the actual ones don't this video should desrve lot
is tetrahedral= square planar? if not what does square planar mean? TIA
What about H2O How its polar if it satisfy linear and all atoms around are the same
you deserve a Nobel peace award
Also try for pf2cl3
Hi may i ask u a question ? Is SBr2 is a non polar or polar?

I looked it up and its nonpolar. seems like this trick doesn't work for everything :/
