why would we move the airfoil five units of length in the x direction? is this just to demonstrate the coordinate system or is their a more purposeful reason?
here i can see 5 coloumns in excel. the lasst three colmns are the co ordinates of points that i can understand. but can u xplain me the first two colmns ?
Finally the most useful video on youtube aboutt this issue!
It's really an extremely useful tutorial.

Thank you Sir! as a beginner, I found that useful!
Thank you!
Thank you for the video. How could I import the lines which connect these points in the same manner (not by hand)?
thanks bro for making such a fantastic video. It helped me a lot.
Thank you bro
Really Helpful
perfectly explained video. thank you for your time.
Thank you!
GOD BLESS YOU!
Hi,
I have imported coordinates in Design Modeler. Can I switch to 'sketching' mode and draw spline or circle by picking these points.
Gracias campeón
Thankyou soo much!
bro thank you so much
Thanks you so much
Thank you very much for this useful video,,
I have a question, can I import lines instead of points?
looking forward to your kind feedback.
Yeah, you can import as line or curve also....If you want, I can post it as a video

Yes it is to position the airfoil.
@@futurecfd When I tried to refresh the point after adding the 5 units it gives me error when I generate I don't know why ?
Future CFD why you choosed 1 for the first colmns?

First two columns are for other two axis....It's single plane curve what we are making...So, we're freezing the other two planes constant
When i connect the points I am getting self intersection error. How can i fix it
how can change this airfoils cord length?
Just change the co-ordinate points based your design.
thanks mate
perfecto
How can I import in 19.2 version? The interfaces are different.
Exactly the same way
THE SAME DID YOU FIND THE SOLUTION I NEED A HELP
Well, if you are opening space claim, this won't work....In 19.2, you can open design modeler and can use the same method
I got suface area value different sir approximately 28198 sir and I using 19.2
Its not generating from notepad
@Sharaj naidu , Did you solved this ?
