Arsenals brand of Football is undisputed, there is a clear moral to how every Arsenal team plays that is unique to Arsenal, and how any future Arsenal team should aim to re emulate (particularly under Arsene with the famous Wenger ball). This type of football will forever be engrained in arsenals history, simply scintillating, simply Arsenal.... rest in peace Claude. He knew that better then anybody.

As for Liverpool- well they spent big that season- very very few locally raised talent.
Arsenal have a different biz model- but the one thing that stands out is the raising of local young talents ti complement the team with a specific style.
It’s not for everyone, and it’s hard to win the the premier league when other teams just spend money on the best players in the world..
Winning the league isn’t the epitome of success…Arsenal is a richer club than man city even without winning…
That’s a “key performance indicator” for success- sold out tickets

I remember watching over 90% of this games with the generation of Giroud Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere... I must say the vital players of this Squad was Cazorla just his movement and the energy, feels like when you see him running with the ball, somehow you are encoureged to play better, and Giroud with his little but so important touches fits perfect in the team. Just really don´t know why they sell him to Chelsea. Maybe didn´t won a trophy but they were a joy to watch.
say what you want but since the start of the premier league, arsenal played the best attacking football and scored some of the best team goals.
arsenal is the only team i enjoy watching counter attack , their pass is something else when everything just works perfectly

But being 9th doesn't help our situation lol

The reunion of Özil, Ramsey and Wilshere in Wengers last year was fabulous.
This is why deschamps always chooses Giroud over other strikers for the starting 11.
He can assist. And bring others into play. That's what so special about him.

He's added some spectacular goals as well, think about the scorpion kick. He's got a rediculously good touch at times. I wonder how he'd go in the current team with the amount of aerial crosses we're pumping in these days.

He was a center piece because it was his position on a field lol. Ozil was good only for a few years, then he became lazy, always afk against good teams, only able to deliver his creativity against weaker teams, while being mostly invisible against top5 or in CL
I think Wilshere's goal against Norwich was the most memorable. Under Arteta's leadership, I haven't seen a beautiful tiki-taka goal. I really miss it.
I miss this kind of one touch football so much... it was so wonderful to watch, even if we didn't win. Hopefully Arteta can recreate what Wenger did in his own way.

We have a very scapegoat cultured fanbase, we always want to attack and blame our players if they have crap games instead of supporting them... I don't understand it!
We "pushed him out" because he stopped doing that. He had 5 assists in 2 years. He was slowing attacks , playing like he have to and not like he wants to . We don't need this kind of attitude in out squad .

To my mind the only other teams who score goals like this are Barcelona and Plymouth Argyle. Why both are also a joy to watch as well. Being a gunner since 1977 I am so proud of my team and the football that they play, always played the game the right way, attractive, incisive football

Giroud's lethality? Guy went 12 games without a goal with ozil in the best form of his life behind him and lost us the league to Leicester, some people just don't remember Giroud properly

Unai Ball was underappreciated ! Some top quality goals.
It's the team that played by itself. His system had no structure and that's why players were scoring goals as they pleased but we conceding more on the other end. It was terrible to watch. Arteta has upgraded this team alot.
Stop disrespecting unai ffs if we really upgraded with Arteta why do we always resort to crossing the ball in the box in the 90th minute like Burnley so far we haven't won a game under Arteta that was as fluently as we did against leicester, Fulham, Napoli etc under unai and we really only conceded goals due to the opponents out playing us while with Arteta the players are always making rookie mistakes despite not doing it that much under unai and Wenger

And the first half of the season we weren’t creating for him at all!! He was barely getting 1 shot a game. And in general we weren’t creating enough until Smith-Rowe and then Olegaard came into the team.
@@bashuggs1205 year and a half is a stretch! He was 1 goal off golden boot again last season and won us the FA cup scoring ALL the goals in both the semi finals and finals. Clearly you don’t know how to count cos that isn’t a year and a half lol. Not to mention he scored the goals against Benfica THIS season to keep us in the Europa league.

I miss the old team. They had so much chemistry and then it just all fell apart when they decided to leave. I believe that the younger players currently on the team have so much potential to be this team shown in the video but it’s just not the same.😞
