Thank you for going through the work of creating that visual to really, liken it to today. It’s Sunday, I watched this video a week ago, and I’m set up at my kitchen table with my OT, my marking pens, a blank paper and I’m about to re-create your map. I t will be more memorable if I do it this way. I’m excited to read differently this time through than last and understand more. I’m all prayed up and ready to draw and read. I noticed that God works in parallels. The same things do happen in different periods of time, and that is one reason we do need to linen the scriptures to us In Our day.
This was really interesting and very helpful. I would like to ask though, that while you are enthusiastic about these things, could you speak a little slower? I got the feeling you were rushing through the material.
You could slow down The playback speed and take a screenshot if there’s not at the Book of Mormon central website. Edit: I watched the video again; his suggestion is that you copy it down by hand. You could pause the video to copy it. Back in the day when people took notes, there wasn’t theory about writing things down to learn them. It worked pretty well for everybody in any class I ever took or taught. The other thing, is that he does say to check the description box for a link to that stuff; I just went back and followed it, and It does take us to a Google maps version of the map, with a different perspective and section of the map to reflect the action going on on a chapter-by-chapter basis for the entire book of Isaiah.
