Growing up i never got into kingdom hearts like my older brothers did. One of them recently died and on top of that i have been going through hell in my head due to feeling love for the first time in my life. In memory of my brother i decided to play the games and now this song hits so different, im in tears

Utada does good job singing in English without hearing her accent. I especially love that vibrato her voice has, it's that special thing this song needs.

I never finished the game back in 2006. I was 10 back in then, but I watched my brother play and finish the game, and KH2 as well. There's something special about this game, it satisfy my desire to be free in a fantasy world. And this song is just so good, the melody fits perfectly with the feel you get in this game.
My daughter had introduced me to this while playing kingdom hearts this song caught my attention i been listening to this woman since then. Her voice is comparable to Wendy moten and Whitney Houston

I heard this years ago. I couldn't ever find a full version since the one I saw was a 30 something seconds animation. I found one once, but it was deleted/blocked, as well was the animation. My years of torture are over

The first KH game I played was 358/2, which my cousin wanted me to play. I was mildly interested in it for a couple of years, when I found a play through of the first game and Chain of Memories. After that, I bought 2, Birth by Sleep, and eventually Dream Drop Distance. This series has impacted my life a lot, and I'm so glad it did.

Not gonna lie, Hikaru Utada is amazing with hiding her Japanese side in her English language music. Like if you’ve never heard of her before, you’d probably think she’s an American or Canadian. I heard her speak in Japanese and she was pretty fluent but the moment she sang this song, I was like… “Hold up! I thought she was Japanese Japanese! Not Japanese-American!”

This game molded me into who I am today, it taught me very valuable life lessons, like to appreciate the little things, never give up, and always follow your dreams, this song is absolutely beautiful and I’m thankful I’m able to listen to Utada sing this even 10 years later when I’m all grown up, brings tears to my eyes, the feeeels man the feeeels

I think what makes KH such a groundbreaking series to me just isn't the game itself. But the beautiful music that comes with it. Music so powerful it can make me feel nostalgia unlike anything else. Truly a timeless franchise.
