Railfanning Abó Canyon in New Mexico

One could sit and railfan here all day with the amount of train traffic BNSF's Clovis subdivision sees. Just outside of Belen, NM, BNSF's southern transcon climbs through Abó Canyon. Starting at 4,800 feet at Belen, the line climbs to just over 5,700 feet by the time it reaches the US 60 overpass, and 6,100 feet at the town of Abó.
We didn't have much time to spend here on this particular day. In fact, the line was dead for the first 20 minutes...then we heard a train rumbling up the canyon. Just as that passed east, a westbounder came around the corner, then as that one disappeared around a curve, another eastbounder was spotted coming up the hill. Three trains, back to back to back, in a 15 minute span.
Train 1: Eastbound 63-car autorack train pulled by BNSF5184 and BNSF5032.
Train 2: Westbound 128-car intermodal train pulled by BNSF4278, BNSF6680, and BNSF5347.
Train 3: Eastbound 107-car intermodal train pulled by BNSF3743, BNSF4420, and BNSF5042.
