THANK YOU Sylvia!!! For realizing that the makeup style is completely different then our ultra glam style here in the US. I’ve seen so many of these videos by other gurus try Japanese and other Asian countries where they freak out about the light coverage and low pigmentation.
Heidi Trower but “low pigmentation” means that they don’t include other ethnicities. It discourages diversity and is racist. Many brands get hate for not having a wide shade range here in the U.S, and it’s much worse in Japan
The brands purchased are from Japan. Not found in the US where the skin type there is lighter skinned. We here in the US have a more diverse society and therefore do recommend our brands to cater to all skin types. If these were brands that were found outside the country I’m sure a shade range would be drastically different. Don’t make this about race, as it is not. My comment on low pigment was to express that the eyeshadows and other face powders don’t have the same kick in color that we all but always demand here.

The reason the brow product didn’t work for you is cause over there in Tokyo they prefer a straighter non arched brow. Also, brow stencils never work period.

I lived in Japan for 3 years ('15-'18) and I LOVED Don Q. They have EVERYTHING. I still have a special skin exfoliator from there called Cure. I have a video on my channel where i went Christmas shopping there :)
Leen Baderddine it is a stigma. Dark skin represents being a field worker in Japan and China. The lighter the skin means your not out in the fields in the sun. It’s probably an old stigma that just carried over into modern times.

I have dark circles more than I have bags. But those dark circles are a pain in the butt to get covered. I found a cheap concealer that both works and doesn’t break me out. I tried a stick and your girl broke out. 😩

I have no lashes, you cant see it unless you look at my eyes from 20cm away. I am oriental asian 😂😂. So lashes like that do help my eyes
