- The Ulanzi Zero Y and Ulanzi X-Aircross are some of the lightest most portable tripods on the market for the price. I'm currently LOVING both of them.

to unscrew the column you turn the ball head 90 degrees and it will show the magic hole to take out 2/3 of the central column
Awesome video. Definitely will put this as one of my options for tripods.
I highly recommend! Good to see you in the comments!
I got this tripod on release. im in love. sold my peak design right after
Nice! Yeah it's a great value I'm loving them
why not keep both? i own this new one and the carbon PD. The PD feels more sturdy like its built better but its slightly heavier but more compact.
Quick release system on aircross is Ulanzi F38. I am using it for almost 2 years and it"s fantastic on my both tripods, gimbal ang backpack clip.
You can buy separate f38 base plate 1/4 screw and easily install it on any tripod plate. Even more I suppose that you can fully tilt with your cage becauae you will get a little more height. Hope it helps ;)
Thanks!
I’ve read comments that you can set the legs on the Aircross mid way. Each leg section has to be either fully in or fully retracted. Have you experienced this? Thanks for the video.
I bought the "zero v" model for 230 USD which lets you unscrew the video head and use the built-in ball head for leveling
Turn the ball head 90 degrees and then the screw is accessible
Great comparison…..ya I want the Zero Y…..one day. Good job bro!
I love it. I'm sad I don't have the F38 version though
This is Neewer TP61 with a carbon fiber vinyl wrap over it,
I recommend just getting the TP61 instead since it's about a hundred bucks
any update on x-aircross after a year?
Falcam/ulanzi just released a new one that's a little heavier but great
@@DustinArmstrongProwhich model? Zero-v?
Great video👍👍
I just got the Ulanzi X-Aircross. Looking to change the ball head. Please suggest some good one for landscape photography 😊
Thanks! I'm not really a photographer so I'm not a great person to ask but the other one I compare in this without the f38 head would be a great option
@@DustinArmstrongPro 😊 Thanks
Good stuff. I got the ulanzi y tripod just waiting to hear my Panasonic sii x. Quick question what is name of video head head?
I think it's just called the ulanzi video fluid head
@@DustinArmstrongPro thanks
Update: You can get the Zero Y with the same F38 head as the Aircross! The link in the description has the updated version!
can you put the feet into sand? will it affect the mechanism?
I'm sure the feet are fine, but no guarantees when it comes to sand. Feel like sand can ruin anything
To me any tripod review should include some tests with a camera mounted, and in different environments.
Every tripod review should begin from its feets: can you put screw-in spikes - yes or no. Even heavy sturdy tripods woobble on the wild grass in windy day. Second of these does not allow spikes, so is just useless outdoor
How is this vs The peak design one?
I haven't used it, but I prefer these in terms of price
Review is confusing because of the interchange of parts.
Their marketing is total BS. Confusing buyers, no real comparison available. Let alone if you don't want the ulanzi name, you can get the same thing named only coman for much less.
Where are you seeing the Coman tripod for much cheaper? I can't find a cheaper version of this tripod under the Coman name. Any link?
