Joel must be a saint. You are so lucky to have him. You'll have to go to Paris just to get some rest. Total chaos but it will be so worth it. Your house is amazing!
Bless your heart, Angela! I can't imagine doing all that along with cooking and no power! You are so calm and Joel is,too! Do you ever just have a " come apart" ??!! It will be gorgeous when you're finished! Hope you're having a wonderful time in Paris! I love your channel! You definitely win the mother and wife of the year!!!❤😂
Oh my! You are all champions in my eyes. Undertaking such a massive project anytime but especially weeks before an overseas trip! Joel is a jewel and the two of you teaching through example that a strong work ethic brings great reward is admirable. Have fun in France, Angela, your family has your back. Can’t wait to see the finished floor upon your return and of course your videos from France!!! Bon Voyage 🎉
You’re doing an amazing job, Angela. There is beauty even in the chaos. I admire your ability to manage so many moving parts with such grace. May you enjoy your Paris trip. I wish I were going with you!!!
OMG a power outage!! Maybe it was a gift from God to slow down? The floors look amazing and looking forward to seeing the kitchen done! And to find time to even make a cake look beautiful, talent! Enjoy your much deserved break in France and hope your family is able to take a break as well! Safe travels!
U have accomplished so much already , go on this wonderful , beautiful trip u sure do need it , I'm positive u will enjoy your self n it's Paris ...Have a great fantastic trip ... Lucky u 💕
I'm so impressed by what you accomplish. I hope you soon get a well-deserved long night (.or two or three) of rest. Thank you for sharing. It has to be difficult to work & film. Just funny....I yawned every time you yawned 8n the video! 😂😂😂 Look forward to home & Paris updates. Thanks, Angela! 🤗 Have a fabulous & restorative trip!
This winter has been a toughie, for sure. And all the storms have been so mercurial- some doozies do little damage, big hype falls flat, and after all that comes the Dark Horse that sneaks in on stealthy winds, leaving power cuts, damaged trees and buildings, and us left to carry on despite it all. I can see the stress in your movements and pattern of speech, but that just elevates my admiration of your determination to keep calm and carry on. Have a wonderful trip; I hope the food is delicious, the sun is warm, and you find lots of good loot!!! ❤
You are always so fun to watch even in the chaos. Only with a supportive husband. Thanks for speaking to us for your videos NOT your husband that’s no fun. Hope your trip is amazing wish I was going. We’ve been to Paris but a girls trip sounds amazing.
I appreciate the calm music and raw footage. So much better than a hgtv program that recaps the same progress over and over and over! So real and helps us see the true nature of a renovation with TLC. Just picture the far off future and your adult kids are doing home or apartment projects….you wouldn’t care about a perfect video…you just want to see the project in whatever state it is in to feel a part of it. I feel a sense of peace watching your family dynamic….so many memories and lessons and values experienced because of Joel and you.
My friends have tile in their sunroom that has slight paw prints in a few of them because of the tiles being laid out in the sun to bake/dry. I thought that was so neat.
Lol Team Birch Logs!! I liked them but I understand why they're going, but please do something with them so you can point out to your grandkids what supported your sink at one time!
All the chaos just creates great memories and stories for the future. it's looking great but I would have freaked out too about the firing marks on the tiles. It looks good though now that it's laid. It's part of their story. bon voyage and wishing you a fab time!
No joke I'd rather have a root canal without anastessiau than do another kitchen renovation. Hang in there Reed Family you will get through this, and it will be stunning!
Dang, you've worked so hard. I am SO happy for you to have the Lowe's deliveries! The last thing you need with all the many things going on is the schlep of to-ing and fro-ing. My interest in this project overrides my squirminess from the sound of unglazed clay on itself. Eek! As a sound-sensitive person, I imagine you understand, lol. You are positively glowing in the shot with your Mickey sweater.
It will all be worth it in the end 😊 i must say your youngest sticking his fingers up at the camera makes me giggle , that means something very different to peace here in the uk the hand is the wrong way round for the peace sign 😅🤣😂
With everything that happened your flooring looks beautiful…you are such an AMAZING gal with everything and the bumps in the road…you still keep trucking along…I so wish my hubby would be so like yours…Joel is such a trooper with your projects…my hubby does do projects or things I need to get done or help but like your tiling and the stone work you two have done he would of said to me “WHAT!!!” Well, anyway ENJOY your trip and cannot wait till your next home project with the tiling…✨😊
Through out my married life we had one project after another. Jerry had a book store so he would be away all day while I carried on. Hard work but so worth it. We could never have afforded my beautiful home without the work and my husbands brilliant mind. He could do anything but hang Sheetrock!
I’ve had the same discussion about ‘this’ and ‘next’ days with people. Some serious miscommunications happen when one doesn’t understand how to use these correctly.
Looking forward to the story about the power outage. Hope Paris goes well and the family back home can get back to a more normal time. Some where in your files put "Make a Monet inspired cake". I so enjoy watching you paint them. 😊
These floors are not for the faint of heart. I am impressed how much you have been able to accomplish in such a short time! Enjoy your trip! Hoping I will be able to join you on one of these trips in the future!
I'm prone to voluntary procrastination, but I've never experienced this many involuntary holdups as you have on this project Angela. I might be tempted to stay in Paris for the summer. XOX!
The tiles laying certainly is a huge project and not done in some days..... It's going to be beautiful. Have a wonderful time in Paris. Must be great in Spring! Regards from the Netherlands. ♥♥♥
Remarkable amount of progress, Angela. I always love your candor & keeping it real with us. Your Easter cake was beautiful. Can’t believe that your eldest son is grown!
I wouldn't be laying any rugs over those beautiful tiles! Are you moving the stove to lay under it? I think no. You deserve time off in France and may not look forward to coming home to more work, but maybe it will be done by then. Safe trip!!!! I love my rooster, he is going outside today. I can't believe your oldest, how tall and handsome he is!!!
Apparently, they have always wanted a terracotta tile floor. They're taking out the wood so they can lay a better underfloor for tile AND save the hardwood to use somewhere else in the home. Hope that answers your question. 🙂
Must be a Man-thing. I just had this discussion about the day/date I’m thaking my neighbors to the airport. And asked the same day/date question. Yup, a man thing. Bon voyage!
Joel must be a saint. You are so lucky to have him. You'll have to go to Paris just to get some rest. Total chaos but it will be so worth it. Your house is amazing!
You married the best man in the whole wide world!
I can’t imagine how you manage to function when you have so much on your plate! Truly amazing.
Joel……wow, what a great guy !!!
Bless your heart, Angela! I can't imagine doing all that along with cooking and no power! You are so calm and Joel is,too! Do you ever just have a " come apart" ??!! It will be gorgeous when you're finished! Hope you're having a wonderful time in Paris! I love your channel! You definitely win the mother and wife of the year!!!❤😂
Laying floors is such a pain but being able to pick the exact location of tiles is priceless.
One of your best videos! Artistry under fire. Beautiful cake

Kitchen renovations are the most aggravating and disruptive projects, I can't imagine a power outage on top of it! Have a wonderful trip!
One word.... GENERATOR! 😉😘☺️
Thankfully these things make us stronger!❤
You And your family and your dreams are amazing!! Have a safe trip and find lotsa goodies and inspiration! Love from Michigan!
I admire you SO much!
It's coming along nicely. I laughed at your hiding your 'nipple tiles' under the rug. 😊
You’re doing an amazing job, Angela. There is beauty even in the chaos. I admire your ability to manage so many moving parts with such grace. May you enjoy your Paris trip. I wish I were going with you!!!

One thing about it you will have earned that floor! My goodness it makes me tired watching all that work.thanks for sharing
Love you and your family. Prayers for safe travels and a joyous return.
God bless you! Enjoy your trip❤
Oh my!!!!!! Beautiful!!!!
How do you know? She just uploaded the video 3 minutes ago and it's more than 20mins long😅
All the chaos just creates great memories and stories for the future. it's looking great but I would have freaked out too about the firing marks on the tiles. It looks good though now that it's laid. It's part of their story. bon voyage and wishing you a fab time!
WOW! WOW! WOW! Safe Travels. STTB
You deserve a reward like Paris!!
No joke I'd rather have a root canal without anastessiau than do another kitchen renovation. Hang in there Reed Family you will get through this, and it will be stunning!
Thank you ! For doing the hard so we get to watch this exciting process !
Thank you dear for taking us along. Can't wait what the @ *lvguci* queen picked up at Fendi

“leaving for Paris a week from tomorrow” oh my gosh, Ang! I so hope you get this project finished before then 👏🏻
Trying to get ready for a trip and the power goes out. My sympathies. At least some of the kids are old enough to step up and help out.
Looking forward to the story about the power outage. Hope Paris goes well and the family back home can get back to a more normal time. Some where in your files put "Make a Monet inspired cake". I so enjoy watching you paint them. 😊
Take it easy and enjoy your trip❤
These floors are not for the faint of heart. I am impressed how much you have been able to accomplish in such a short time! Enjoy your trip! Hoping I will be able to join you on one of these trips in the future!
OH Angela , It looks beautiful !!! Sending HUGS for all the challenges you have had . Praying from NH . Have a blessed trip ✈🗼🥰
Hope you're enjoying your trip, especially the cuisine😊 I can't wait to see the floors finished.
Great work & fantastic look on your dining & kitchen floors‼️💯🤩
I'm prone to voluntary procrastination, but I've never experienced this many involuntary holdups as you have on this project Angela. I might be tempted to stay in Paris for the summer. XOX!

Thank goodness you have a generator for your freezers! You look like a tired mama. Enjoy your trip.
Wishing you a great time in Paris. Hope you get some rest.

A little friends reference 😉. Nice
Hang in there frenchie!!!
The tile floor is amazing! But I'm wondering why you removed the hardwood floor that was there. Get some much deserved R&R in Paris. 🥰🥰
Apparently, they have always wanted a terracotta tile floor. They're taking out the wood so they can lay a better underfloor for tile AND save the hardwood to use somewhere else in the home. Hope that answers your question. 🙂
❤❤❤
🎉Hubby's moves! 😅❤
Aww. Hang in there
You are making awesome progress. Love it! I guess it's time to invest in a generator?😮
I know it's not funny and your patience is to be admired... but I believe the Heavens are saying slow down. ❤
Angela, Holy Smokes! Are you coming back from Paris? I’m thinking kicking screaming.
Letting go of co trim is so hard but….France!😘
😮🙏💐🎶💄👗👟👠👑👒🕶🏆🎀🌑🌞✈❤🧡💛💚💙💜☕☕💅🏃♀🌹🌈☔🌤🎀👟👠🍾🥂💯Warmest Wishes your way Angela.Hard to'settle' given all of that...all will be well...
Whole house generator.
Fairly new, is there a video explaining the obsession of French, France?
I’d love to know too, have asked in the past but no response.
Angela stayed in France years ago and has loved French style ever since as well as a bit of English thrown in .
Boy are you going to be snoring on that plane!!!
Must be a Man-thing. I just had this discussion about the day/date I’m thaking my neighbors to the airport. And asked the same day/date question. Yup, a man thing. Bon voyage!
Lots of work, could you tell me why you leave out some tiles?
She said the tiles need to be trimmed down to fit, as they’re hand-made so not all are the same size.
@@ladylana3093 thank you, after I posted the question she answered it, lol
Knee pads would feel great ❤
