well.... from deepin EULA: "When you use deepin community to post, reply, send a private message to other users or do other interactive behaviors,we will collect the content (including text, pictures or videos) and your behavior information (ie,Likes,Collections,Comments and Reporting information) to achieve relevant regulatory requirements in various regions." the fck this aint Linux as it should be.. nice looking or not..
@@SinghNarayanOm Yes....I think the Deepin environment is great as a desktop, but I would stay away from the distro itself. That being said, as pretty as it is, you could definitely make KDE plasma (or even cinnamon) look very similar, and then you don't have the issue of apps not native to the environment looking out of place.
@@rahmathidayatullah7432 I guess depends on how you define safe. I don't think you're more at risk of being hacked than any other distro, but it is possible your data will be shared as per the EULA, and if that's an issue (which for many of us in Linux it is) then that's problematic. That wouldn't necessarily be the case eif the desktop is used in another distro, hence why I said you could do that - I believe Ubuntu and Arch have it as options.
lately I´m experiencing some weird behaviors on behalf of my old friend windows , feeling I´m loosing control over browser, ram and task manager activities, and overall i think it collects and transfers more and more private data, enough to pull the switch and go with another os. Which Linux Distro would you recommend?
Depends on how much you're willing to learn imo Beginner and want comfort: Mint, Nobara Experience fundaments of Linuc: Debian, Fedora, openSuse Focused on gaming and want good preconfig: Nobara, Bazzite Have technical background: Arch, Void, etc Zorin is alright, but it's quite behind Ubuntu's release, (Ubuntu based, LTS 22.04 vs LTS 24.04). Elementary OS is pretty, but you have to reinstall your system every time there's an upgrade. Deepin... looks pretty but imo incontinent to use, and has security concerns Every distro can look the same if you choose to do so
@@SinghNarayanOm would you make a video on switching to arch. (I switched back from fedora to arch based DISTROS (driver issue)). And why would kdenlive take longer?
@bhargavjitbhuyan9394 I believe KdenLive is the Best Video Editor I have used, and whenever I use it, I somehow get into a state of Creating a high quality & very hard edited video which takes hours or maybe days to produce and Currently My TimeTable is very tight So even If I wanted to, I cannot.

Linux is fine when it comes to personalization but it sucks day to day use,in typing most of the time it creates trouble and there is not a single download manager that could be compared with IDM
