  • If you're interested in a career as a tattoo artist, this episode is for you!
The owner of Ritual Winnipeg, Bram, leads us through the intricacies of being a tattoo artist. They wanted to be a tattooer ever since they were a kid, and now, owning their own shop, they are giving others the opportunity to learn in a safe space. They emphasize that safety is the most important part of tattooing.
Bram leads us through a normal day for them at the studio and talks about how tattooing is a discipline that takes years to be successful at. They also mention how tattoos are a ritualistic endeavour to mark moments in your life and are culturally important, hence the name of their studio.
This episode was filmed on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional territory of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
    Filmed with the Canon EOS R6mkii w/Asahi Takumar 28mm f3.5 and Canon R7 w/ Sigma 24-70mm f2.8
