I don't get why you people need to insult something else in order to compliment the other. You can like both. Do you not have the capability to love both? Because I sure do. There are great games released every single year. I love both old and new games. You just need to find games, which I am pretty sure you don't even bother to.
I was an 80's kid and a 90's teen. Some great games from that era, but come ON. Games get better and better. There's some amazing titles out there. Play 'Elden Ring'!
It was the golden age of video games. You had PC gaming, the arcades, and consoles, all of which provided unique gaming experiences, and each console was very different from one another. Everything has converged now. Consoles are the same essentially, there are no arcades, and PC gaming is just more powerful console gaming. It's about sequels and in-game marketplaces to get more money out of the user after the point of purchase. The games have never looked and sounded better but they are largely iterative. Elden Ring is just another Souls game except in an open world so it's Souls meets Skyrim. There are so many games and have been so many games over the past 30 years that it is hard to revolutionize anything. The 90s was the peak. As far as gaming goes, I am glad I grew up during the 80s and 90s.
@@BurningArt78 Elden Ring is actually ass, and one of the weakest Souls games. Everyone just jumped on it because of the hype and spectacle, hence it was the first Souls game of many. Same thing happened with Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter. Now you've got tons of dipshits that think every game was or supposed to be exactly like World, as well as your typical braindead jackasses that have Stockholm Syndrome towards, and ignoring obviously bad game design. Just like the majority of people who played Elden Ring.
Don't let any of the Billy Mitchels tell you otherwise: it was the early to mid 90s that were the highpoint of arcades. Game design and especially graphics had far surpassed anything from the 80s, and the decline of arcades had yet to start. It was also the height of pixel graphics before godawful first gen 3D took over.
“Blast!! They found me!” Mate, you and your GIANT ROBOT sliced the front gate open with a laser sword when they were all standing RIGHT THERE. You found them, if anything.
It's amazing how a lot of games from this era have aged like a fine wine. Just seems like a lot of games were more original back then and had passion put into them.
@kindagamer7779 Yeah, you're right. I was talking with rose-colored glasses of nostalgia when I said that lol. There were a ton of beat em ups, Street Fighter/MK clones, and Doom rip-offs. However, I do stand by the statement that games did seem to have more passion in them.
The World needs more Mecha & Space fighter machine games! This one kicks ass! ONE of the many reasons I play it continuously. You would have thought that game designers would make more games like this!
I played this game as a kid in the arcade a few times. I forgot the game title and it's one of the games that I have been searching for it since I first used MAME. good thing i stumbled upon it here.
Remember being obsessed with this game. My friend actually had this stand at his house and I’d stay up half the night playing it when he had sleep overs.
Golden Axe, but with big bashy mecha... How did I manage to miss this game the first time around...and where have you been all my life, gorgeous? Love how the burliest mech and its pilot are from Canada.
In this case, all four VAs need to have weapons designated for each machines' characteristics. My personal setup will be Bloodia (Death Drill-equipped on the right arm), Reptos (Chain Spark), Guldin (Force Claw) and last but not least Fordy (Laser Blade-right arm, Shield Cannon-left arm) As for the pilots personal BGMs, they will be using various versions of Passionate Blood (Jeff Perkins "Rash"), Inner Ambition (Ray Turner "Justice"), Soul of Steel (Glenn Reed "Gray") and HERO (Sarah White "Siren")
This is one of the best side scroll beat them up game. Love the charging attack of enery ball weapon. Got homing capability some more. Wish someone did remade to it like street of rage...
Electric arm is my fav in this game I will always invite enemy units to come closer and stun them to death with special move of charged electric sphere. This move will generate a huge electric ball that upon max charge will be shot straight ahead, while preventing any enemy that came into contact with the sphere to move at all and drain their health slowly to death
I remember playing an mech beat’em up when I was a kid but I forgot the name pretty sure this is the one. There aren’t any other mech beat’em ups right?
C'mon Capcom it's time for a another HD collection of your classics games again but gives us the ones that were missing as well like Red Earth, Battle Circuit, Cyborbots, Armored Warriors and the Vamipre games. I was also going to say Alien vs Predator but.....fox.
Ah that's one game I spent tons of time on, as a fun note, I have a savestate-less no continue clear of this thing up on my channel, I demonstrate a very specific exploit that allows me obliterate the second half of the game easily.
-Galager, prior Mission 3 - Area 2 "The enemy's main unit is gathering in the factory! Destroy them before they return to Raia" . . . -Rash, prior Mission 3 - Area 3 Boss "Leave Earth or die! It's your choice." ...wat
God bless Japan and their love of giant robots.
Indeed, they really know how to design and draw robots from the future, they have good imagination.
I am starting to think that there are far much more better games in the 90s than today's games.

This was Capcom's golden age, ironically they never made 2 similar beat me up. The best was punisher
The glory days of 90s arcades. I used to love this game!
Loved me some side scrolling beat em ups. Didn't matter whether it was console or arcade - I was down! I wish the beat em up would
Make a comeback.

This is a really awesome game, definitely worth of having a sequel.
Cyberbots: Full Metal
Madness
@@RealKheso damm i commented on this 10 years ago. i dont even remember watching it. the game amazed me still after this time though
“Blast!! They found me!” Mate, you and your GIANT ROBOT sliced the front gate open with a laser sword when they were all standing RIGHT THERE. You found them, if anything.
This game looks bad ass...and the music!? Ugh....so awesome.
This game needs a REMAKE! (Or maybe a SEQUEL?)
It’s in the Capcom Beat-em-Up Bundle!
I played this game today first time ever , and good god it's so good for 90s game I enjoyed it more than games of now
It's amazing how a lot of games from this era have aged like a fine wine. Just seems like a lot of games were more original back then and had passion put into them.

The glory days of Capcom

We really need more mecha AAA games. Like a new Front Mission or Armored Core.
I played this game as a kid in the arcade a few times. I forgot the game title and it's one of the games that I have been searching for it since I first used MAME. good thing i stumbled upon it here.
I remember this game. It was fun. Wish they can make a sequel of the game.
I miss this Capcom :(
CAPCOM will get back to it's former self once they start to bring back games like THIS!
4:19 Mission 1 Deserted Town
7:21 Mission 2 Win Back
12:52 Mission 3 Chase
18:47 Mission 4 Forgotten Ruins
26:06 Mission 5 Railroad in Flames
33:20 Mission 6 Truth
41:43 Mission 7 Starry Ocean
50:27 Ending
I used to rock this game so many years ago, I wish I can see this on PS4
You can get it as part of their
Capcom beat em up collection.
Just played it on the PS5 haha
HIS ABILITY TO COPE WITH ANY WAR SITUATION IS LOGENDARY. ... LMFAO
Jim G, you are epic... because Walter Sobchak.
Dem Capcom electric guitars in the music.
Played it on MAME with my cousins when we were kids. Forgot the name over years and just found it this morning.
Those poor soldiers outside of mechs.
That stage 2 music is the mutt's nuts :D love it
It’s in the Capcom Beat em Up bundle along with Battle Circuit
That's why Jin Saotome is the pilot in Cyberbots.
23:56, Oh look it's Sting Chameleon.
So this is what Virtual-On would have been like had it not been an arena fighter.
And the Final Battle was like Gurren Lagann - GIGA DRILL BREAKER!!
Great Play and Great Game
This game looks awesome!

Golden Axe, but with big bashy mecha... How did I manage to miss this game the first time around...and where have you been all my life, gorgeous?
Love how the burliest mech and its pilot are from Canada.
And of course it's the most badass mech there is, large hulking tank treaded mech. Just pure win
capcom fucked up...the smallest, wimpiest mech should have been the canadian one
Sean Wilkinson I
A shame the series never found any success, it had potential.
The soundtrack this game is wonderful
Lot of hours in that arcade cabinet.
These visuals are amazing.
And i dont mean 'for the time'. I mean, for the eyes.
This game is now part of Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle.
Só tive o privilégio de jogar essa pérola rara agora no meu emulador no PSP
Sick game!
Hey I’m glad capcom decided to add this to the capcom beat em up bundle so I’m looking forward to this
In the end, the Raia dissapeared... HAPPY ENDING!
Powered Gear (a.k.a. Armored Warriors) for Super Robot Wars!

I thought my sound had broke, waiting 3 minutes and 30 seconds until hearing a single sound.
great music in the ending , i guess it will be hard to get soundtrack from it
Wild game,man!!! 😎👊
(It takes a few seconds to google) The game came out in 1994.
I remember this game. Quite good.
Que mega jogo bacaninha, nunca cheguei a jogar nos anos 90
This game is way past awesome. I played this game on the rom version with my arcade emulator app.
GAME LOOKS VERY FUN. NO DAMAGE TAKEN? CODE?
One of my favorite beat em up games ever. i love this game forever also i completed the whole game
Game is hard as hell the final boss is something else lol thank god the capcom beat ‘em bundle has unlimited continues or else I’d never finish it.
This was such a badass game
Whoa!! This is awesome as hell!
The 90s had the best games and late 80s well my generation 👏
Capcom need to make a fighting/beat'em up arcade classics for all home consoles.
He Mr Schlauchi (or basically the whole Cubex Team)! What would be the goriest beat em up you've ever played?
Destoroy! Ah, japan... :)

49:52-50:00 Really? You had to say that before you died huh? Anyone else hate when villains make arguments like that
+dorourke105 Impossible!!! How is this happpppeeennnniinggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's almost like Bacterion when he talks about how he was born out of mankind's greed in Gradius III
the precursor of armored core.
This looks sick!
What? That comic had a game? Haha thanks mate!
ALMOST EVERYTHING CAPCOM EVER MADE WAS IN THE STYLE OF 'FINAL FIGHT'
I love the graphics!!!!!!
L O G E N D A R Y
2d beat em Ups are my life
his ability to cope with any war situation was logendary.Logendary lol
Now why the hell didn't THIS take off?
God, makes sequels for this game and Cyberbots, already, Capcom!
what do we got ? Kazuki Takemura from Front Mission AND Big Boss Old Snake

There's 4 different robots but 3 players, does that mean there's more than 1 combonation when they come together?
how did you do this :O I wanna see the one-credit ending for all the characters :/
Wow... CyberBots' prequel game!
No audio up until like 4:31
Actually, Thefun Frame, there ARE Blodia figures released, by Sentinel.
I would get them, but they are expensive as hell.
Blodia looks very similar to a Zaku II.

Holy fuck. This is badass.
Pretty funny that the player beat the sub-antagonist by spamming the laser and destroyed his mech with a point-blank shot (40:51).
this dude must of had a game shark
Damn those are some chunky sprites!
Wait, is this game like a prequel to Cyberbots? Because I see a lot of the same robots that I see in that game here, in different forms of course.
stumpy robots would be really tough.
I thought you were using mods until the end. You're an awesome gamer.

Like si lo jugaste te pequeño en mi caso lo jugue de chiquito en mi tablet Miray y ya tenía el juego de Armored Warriors.
el titanfall de los 90s
