Queenstown is a perfect getaway spot on the South Island. So much to do and because it’s a town it’s got a nice chill vibe to it. Being up close to the Remarkables gives it a Whistler/Banff kind of feel too. Highly recommend to anyone visiting NZ.
Absolutely! I think it might actually be nicer than Banff which is crazy haha but the lake is just SO gorgeous.
Great video - amazing shots! Good to see some spots that aren't on the usual fly through Queenstown! Winter is spectacular over there and those clear crisp days are magic.

You can't make it to Queenstown and then give us a 5 minute vlog, come on guys we need more content lol. I always find it funny when seasoned travellers will say they don't do tourist spots and will try to avoid them, but there is something truly special about Queenstown, it just has this magic about it that draws you in. Definitely drive up the remarkables, amazing view and a fun drive, the Ernslaw for lunch at Walter Peak is an experience. The snowboarding and mountain biking down there is world class. Enjoy
Queenstown is truly spectacular. We always said we weren't going to do the touristy spots, but Queenstown is a place everyone has to go to!

reminded me of a beautiful place and it had sense or smell of a Queen 😂 and i had a tasty tea with some strawberry pie at a place called THE TEA ROOM at Streetsville Queen street Mississauga Ontario .

Queenstown is genuinely one of the most picturesque places we've been to. Everywhere looks like a greenscreen! Queenstown hill nearly killed us off though, its surprisingly steep! 😂
It's so beautiful! We want to go back and take the Gondola and drive up the Remarkables. Plus explore the town centre, we ran out of time to do that on this trip.
Climb Ben Lamond if you can, it's an order of magnitude over Queenstown Hill.

Hello! Thanks for watching ☺️ I typically use the AllTrails app or sometimes I type "hike" in Google maps and it comes up with some. Then I read through reviews to see if it's worth it!

This was June 23rd! We're heading back for a couple of days soon so might see more snow though it's been quite mild - mostly rain.
Which is the best city to live in Newzealand according to you
After our last 5.5 months of travel, I would say Christchurch. It's affordable and close to many adventures. If money was no object, I'd pick Wellington though!
