I love how practical and useful your videos are, Olga, like the way you show prices and exchange rates on the screen. It's really helpful for those of us planning a trip. Thanks!
Another person already commented on that, but I will repeat. In this video I am talking about Izmir city itself, not the whole province. Cesme and other small towns near Izmir indeed have beautiful beaches, but I was only talking about Izmir city.
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces I really understand what you mean and we all understand it is not negative at all. But just to be informatory, in Turkey people don't have sense of "province". We have cities>districts>neighborhoods; and all districts belong to city itself. When you say "İzmir", Turkish people will think Çeşme, Urla, Foca and all other districts as a whole and not consider it is about the city center. It's just a curtulal thing and it is applicable for any city in Turkey.
thanks for the clarification, I did not know about that. it will help me understand Turkish culture better. However this video is in English and meant to be for foreigners visiting Turkey. For example, if somebody told me there are beaches in Izmir, I would think there are beaches in city centre 😊. I heard beaches in Çesme are amazing, hope to visit one day 😊
@@zortlak Excellent information, I have been trying to understand the geographical, political, cultural and economic area of Turkey for almost three years, I still do not understand much but with your clarification my thinking has taken a great advance, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. 09 Juillet 2023 France 🇲🇫 , Olga thank you very much for your videos which are beautiful and very useful , and thank you very much for setting the subtitles in French...❤ 🎉 👏 ❤ 😊 😉 🌹🥰 🙋♀️
👏👌👌👍🌹☺️.. I wish they had a common Turkey transportation card like the Turkey museum card so that it doesn't become cumbersome for tourists to buy a new cart for a new city. In this way one not only saves time but leftover balance money...🌹☺️
The video is focused on Izmir city, not the whole province. For foreigners it’s a bit confusing that the whole province is called Izmir too. So when we say “Izmir”, we only mean the city. Cesme, Alacati and other towns in Izmir province undoubtedly have beautiful beaches
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces I really don't know how to explain you more, CESME is in IZMIR, so all of these places are in Izmir which means they are beach and you can swim, however if you mean city center, yes you can not swim in city center.
From what I could find online: Çeşme is a coastal town in Izmir province. Çeşme is located 85 km west of İzmir. In this video I am talking about Izmir city itself, not the whole province.
Thank you Olga for the clear info.. I have a question, if I will be visiting Turkey with family and thinking to rent a car for transportation and travel, is car parking something easy and can be found in turkey, ex. in Izmir?
Hi. Overall in Turkiye we didn't have much problems with parking. Although the bigger the city the more difficult it will be. Hello, thank you for all your videos! We will be going to Izmir next week! I was wondering if it's best to change our money in our country or is it best to do it in turkey ? Thank you!

Izmir don't have a beach? I have two in front of my house, i also advise you to see Çeşme, probably some of the best on earth.
Yes, we plan to visit Cesme in the summer.
Do you have an actual beach, where it’s good to swim, within city limits in Izmir?
