Love this so much. My family is from Circle, AK. I've always loved traditional native music. Thank you for passing down the traditional language and culture.
So many of us are made to feel ashamed of ourselves, our language, the color of our skin and of our people. We are made to feel unworthy and not entitled. Take a look at this young Alaskan Native and see his pride. He is an example to all of us, no matter the color of our skin.
So proud of Byron's enthusiasm for his language and his culture and encouraging his peers, younger kids and adults to sing his songs, use their language and to dance. Bravo!
Bryon, you say that your music has changed your life for the better. I hope that is true. However, your music has also changed the people who have heard you sing for the better. Be proud of who you are and the culture that you belong to. Thank you for sharing your talent.
