I had an older comment on here long before I became and ASMR creator. But this video was lost in the archives of my favorites until today. Six years later you have paved the way for so many of us. I am and will forever be in debt to originals like you, who perfected the craft. I hope you’re doing well.

My first experience with ASMR was at my babysitter's house. I may have been 5 or 6 years old. A couple of friends and I were playing Doctor with a little toy doctor kit, and I remember asking if I could just always be the patient, because having my temperature taken and my heart listened to was just so relaxing and tingly.

i would like to commend you, and let you know what a great job you're doing. please keep it up, i had a pretty nice, and repeated effect. especially when you started the bit with the light. i do have to say you mights advise people to try watching this in an already dimmed room , or watch this video with the lights off, and in full screen for maximum relaxation. which is what i did, and it gave maximum ASMR. the reason for that is that in full screen, and with the lights dimmed or off, the full effect of the video takes place, and you don't get nasty monitor light. which makes the light bit you do, all the more of an effect. Also, great panning. really good job over all, keep it man. and thanks a bunch!!! :)

Never understood why is it all about quiet and gentle things in ASMR. My first (and best) ASMR was (and still is) hearing loud jet engine noise chorusing and flangering all around. Especcialy afterburner. And another one - hearing trains ride along rails producing that rythmic knocking sound when their wheels go through rail junction points. And mby even racecars racing noise. Then again, i don't mind scratching, mic blowing and all those slow things too. They trigger my ASMR just as well. But i personally don't thinkg ASMR is about relaxation. It's about getting your favourite thing. It's not nessecary to be relaxing, quiet and gentle. It just has to be yours. I firmly believe many can experience ASMR while listening to their favourite songs. Is that quiet and gentle? I don't think so. I can get tingles from listening my fav trance music for example.

Good on ya for the shout-out to another ASMRtist's work. I'm an artist, but not an ASMRtist, and I just got my first public shout-out from another artist (public performance art related) who liked and was inspired by some of my work, in a work they did, last week. So firsthand, I can tell you, at least some artists think shout-outs are amazingly, amazingly cool even though we don't DO our art in the first place, to get them.

MassageASMR is like a book of short stories which have only a few things that make them part of same universe. Ephemeral Rift is like a bunch of series that constantly cross reference each other and have a bigger plot that needs to be unraveled. Both are great.

Sooo I'm watching this and when you started to ask me questions like when my first ASMR experience was? The first I could remember was when I was 14 and I talked to my neighbor, he had a thick accent and I found it triggered me but when you said in school it reminded me that when I was little in "Kindergarten" they would have nurses come in and check our hair and rustle through them from back to front very gently to check for lice... you immediately triggered my asmr by reminding me about it and it was one of the heaviest tingles I have felt in a long time...
