So glad to see you back. I was so worried. You aren’t just showing a different side to homesteading (which I’m so grateful for) but you are showing how to love each other. It’s beautiful. Sending you both healing vibes and love

You have no idea how much I appreciate hearing your story. I'm a young queer girl with chronic illnesses/disabilities myself. I know our situations are very different but you've helped me feel less scared about the future. You're a beautiful couple, I wish you all the best. 💙💙

It's wonderful to have you back and to see that Lindy is feeling so much better now and so energetic! Thank you both for showing us your reality so honestly. Your ongoing story is inspiring and uplifting in many different ways! Sharing your life through your videos will be a great help to people facing their own health issues and the hard decisions that sometimes come with the territory.
Of course, the gardening and homesteading info you share, and the way you share it, is entertaining and educational all on its own! However, the love and support you each give the other is heartwarming and makes your channel very special. Hoping Lindy's insertion site has healed now and isn't causing her so much pain. Looking forward to your upcoming videos, but please, take the time you need to transition into your new 'normal' routines.

I’m a pediatric home care nurse and the majority of my clients have G tubes. One thing we do is get over the door shoe organizers and we put supplies in them.

Don't ever feel self conscious! I learned along time ago, everyone has something!! Adapt what you can to live your life in a more doable way. But most importantly live your life.

Thank you for sharing this! I hope you find your "new normal" soon. You are so brave, loving and beautiful souls. I admire the way you support each other in difficult times - there is much for me to learn from you two, not only about homesteading. Take care!

So impressed by both of you. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I will happily follow your journey with Lindsay and your garden no matter how few or how many videos may be.
Kaylee, you are beyond amazing. I whole heartedly wish you both the best on this journey.
I take care of two handicapped brothers and I understand the love and devotion that is required to take care of loved ones as best as you can.
Lindsay, hang in there. It is hard to imagine a more devoted partner at your side as you navigate this uncomfortable and painful process.
    Best wishes,
    Jenny

Request adhesive remover or place a warm washcloth on your dressing before removal. That will help with the pain

My son has dysphasia and required thickened liquids - highly recommend Gelmix thickener over simply thick. Your digestive system will thank you.

Thank you for the tip! We are using the simply thick but I’ll look for gel mix and order it next time!

So, is there now a quest for super cool backpacks?

    • @RootedRevival
      @RootedRevival  2 года назад

You know it!! We actually found a backpack style baby bag at a thrift store and adapted it - it's perfect! Which is good because her standard black one shown here is definitely gross from working outside already!

-Get better soon! I was expecting natural medicine protocols for a homesteader, but maybe not easy to choose? Pleaas work to heal, don't take it lightly!.CAreful with offcial nutrition drinks, not that goiod quality and often sugar=diseasing...I have no dr, need assistence to manage all that. Want to move to hmomesteading, but want to forget my disease, hahaha!
