Coopers Rock is a State Forest located about ten minutes outside Morgantown, West Virginia. Its known for its many highballs and gritstone rock that can only be found here and Great Britain. Affectionately referred to as "coops", our local boulder spot hosts around 500 boulder problems, many top-ropes, and a few sketchy trad routes. The surrounding area of Cheat Canyon also boasts hundreds of boulder problems as well as many sport climbs (video on that coming soon). It should also be said that Coopers Rock is notoriously sandbagged.
Bro this page is so raw
Butcher block traverse is such an excellent warm up
Such a fun problem… glad you liked the vid!
I spent a lot of time here in the 90s. I love that place. The butcher block, Robbery is the first established boulder problem I ever did.
I love it
Where is Cooper's Rock located? These look like some rad routes, nice job on the sends!
