in the end with nirvana you could tell dave wanted to be the frontman. he started doing a lot of talking for the band in the end while kurt listened..dave will live in kurt's shadow forever.
He had such a unique voice. he was able to make any song sound amazing. he had a lot of pain. He was able to turn his pain into incredible music that many people were able to relate to. This song is one of the best songs. it's a cover, but he made it sound incredible, every time he sang it
I'm a lover of traditional blues, but when new artists re-interpret the classics with new talent and passion....well, makes me feel good.....Nirvana, Jack White, etc. recognized the importance of the blues to American music

I mean they used the term "Grunge" before Nirvana and the like got famous. I think "post-grunge" was all marketing though, totally.
