- When James is forced out of his Vault, he must deal with this harsh new hell known as The Commonwealth.
Supplies are running low and James must scavenge to survive. While searching for supplies, James realizes that he is not alone, and that Raiders are the least of his concerns.
I hope you all like this! During my down time from The Storyteller over at Shoddycast, I wanted to try and do this while I could. This was a labor of love and tribute to the machinima that got me the job at Shoddycast. If you have any questions, shoot me a message and I'll do my best to answer them accurately!

This is why Fallout would make the coolest tv show ever it would totally dominate and kill off Walking Dead don't get me wrong that show is cool but nothing is cooler than Fallout.

The Dragon Trilogy I did come across a random encounter similar to this. It was at that tunnel by the river near that mutated fern town, a few super mutants were shooting at these two settler dudes and I had a scoped hunting rifle, didn’t have that much ammo but I shot the super mutants and helped them anyways. Both survived the encounter, had something to do though so I did go talk to them, later I made it to diamond city and those same two settlers were at the gate, they thanked me for the help.
a tv show set in the fallout universe. if that happens, i can die happy.

Idk i like the urban environments in Fallout
Something I realized watching this : there aren't many good semi-auto rifles in this game. There's the pipe rifle, The Combat rifle, and the Assault rifle. Combat rifle is ok, Pipe one is cool for the aesthetic of it. Assault rifle is just a mess of ugly.
+Minion Block The combat rifle is a better sniper rifle than the hunting rifle.
I use the RU556 mod, it’s lore friendly too because you can make it look exactly like the Marksman Carbine from Fallout New Vegas.
The super mutants walk like the cowboys in old hollywood westerns, they crack me up. Sneaking around downtown listening to the super mutant conversations is in my top five things to do in fallout 4.
Wow, how have I not seen this yet? I loved the atmosphere and how you built tension and a feeling of vulnerability. Awesome job!
Good use of the in-game voice dialog from the raiders and super-mutants! Nice. Had a great flow that wasn't too stinted. This feels like the start of something; giving you a feel for James and his basic character.
This was pretty great. I would love to see more like this!

OOHHH!! I recognize that music, its the digital nightmare MOD from fallout new vegas. One of my favorite mods. Its changes the atmosphere so much when combined with the DUST mod from New Vegas.

Overall, pretty good, but you forgot the Pip Boy on the lone wanderer.
This has more of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R vibe than a Fallout one despite the visuals, absolutely beautiful.

Speaking of not using the GECK, how _did_ you make this? Are there specific console commands that allow for the actors to move and do certain animations?

You are correct!
Looks great! The weapon switches during the mutant hound chase running are a bit jarring though. I would recommend some establishing shots as well, just to give a sense or relative space. Looking forward to the new season! Great job!
