SALMON / TROUT FISHING IN A SMALL BOAT!! - Big Water Trolling on Lake Michigan

- One of my favorite things to do in the Summer when the water gets too warm to fishing for muskies is to head over to Lake Michigan and troll for salmon and trout. I head out of Milwaukee, WI with my friend Noah Humfeld of Madison Angling Guide Service and RUclips channel. The bite is slow for most of the day but we do get to tangle with a 20 Lbs class King (chinook) salmon and we put a nice brown trout in the boat.

I chased Kings on the world famous Kenai River in Anchorage 21 years ago and caught 3 fish! Two 25-pounders, and a 55-pounder was taller than me! It was the trip of a lifetime and the fish were incredible to fight and land!

@@AnglingAnarchy yeah it was an amazing experience for sure and my Dad and I made a lot of memories on that trip! Now that he’s passed on, I always think back to that week, right after I graduated from high school, as those were the biggest fish I’ve ever caught of any species!

ugh musky fishing ohio atm is so terrible. i want May and june back before they sprayed the weeds... 3 to 4 weeks and it SHOULD pick up. Crappie fishing till then or no fishing at all for me....
