I am a cancer ascendant, moon in Gemini in the 12th house. My ascendant is holding the lower degree.I am currently in my Mercury Mahadasha and noticed that my chart is more Accurate from my moon sign chart, but going back to my Saturn dasha period..my Ascendant chart was more accurate. The sign lord of the Dasha controller has been given more strength.

One moment, the real main Planet that represented the Personality was always the Sun, also in old Vedic Astrology, it was the Sun, also the real Atmakaraka, not the Chara Atmakaraka, the sun represented always the soul, the true self, the moon was responsible for the feelings and emotions. But the Ascendant or Rising sign represents the Life lesson, or the life path, not the main personality.
Sun - Soul
Moon - Mind/consciousness
Ascendant - Body

Just a doubt guruji..according to double transit effect, marriage takes place when Saturn and Jupiter both occupy or aspect either the first or seventh house or their lords..in such a scenario, does looking at transits with moon as ascendant also give the same information?
Also, on any given day there are twelve different ascendants whereas moon can occupy at the most two different signs. So if we apply transits from moon, does that mean all the people born on the day will have same transits all throughout their lives? Aren't transits from ascendant more specific in that case?

@@ericthorsfeldt3030 it probably depends but if it’s in good dignity, moon in 4th house would bring comfort and stable mind. Moon in first house can make someone too emotional and have many crushes on others since moon has so many wives you know. But it does make a person beautiful and friendly 🥰

@@PictureAstrology I'm asking about transits as a predictive part.I do it from Lagna,Moon,Lagnesh and Sun before going to divisional charts.This is the approach developed as the consequence of studying research-oriented astrological literature.Obviously,before interpreting transits the current MD/AD have to be understood.Then transits and Ashtakavarga applied.Do you have any practical examples with reliable data illustrating a particular event occurring and shown by the transits?I'm asking about your practice as the extension and support of the theory.If you want to exchange views I can show you and share an example with astrological evidence in regard to what I've mentioned above.
The systematic approach you outlined is beyond doubt best way to approach astrology and I sincerely respect your deep interest ... my Pranam for that 🙏... As for predictions using "only" transits...I have experienced that many events such as travel (in a particular direction \ distance) or recurrence of a health issue etc. can be made with a very fair reliability if transits are applied properly on a chart...
