Hanwell Town v Bracknell Town Highlights (17.03.2024)

After the mid-season break and another postponement for our home leg against Plymouth Parkway, it was onto Bracknell Town who are in with an outside chance of reaching the Southern Premier South Play-offs.
Despite a strong Hanwell showing in the first half it was Bracknell Town who took the lead. Adam Mekki's free kick seemed to evade every player on pitch, unfortunately for The Geordies that included keeper Sam Beasant. The home side had the majority of the chances but Robin's keeper Micheal Eacott was in the form his life denying Jacob Bancroft on multiple occasions. However, on 81 minutes Callum Woodcock's ball found veteran forward Elliot Benyon to send it into the visitors net to level things. Yet, it would be the side from Berkshire who would level West London with all 3 points as in the 90th+10 minute of the game captain Ashley Lodge won it for Bracknell.
Hanwell will be making the long journey down to Tiverton on Saturday the 23rd for Non-League Day, before playing the postponed fixture against Sholing at home on the 26th.
