I'm 26 and I've never used dating apps but most people I know used them to hook up in college and I know a bunch of people who met their SOs through dating apps. Definitely seems like a waste of time to be on the apps with no intention of meeting anyone. Either things have really changed in the 5 years I've been out of college or it's something to do with this pretentious college.
it's def more of a college thing the way the two girls referred to dating apps. true, when you're in such a big setting like college/uni you're more likely to meet someone in person and it's easier too. but when you're out of college and start working dumb 9-5s you practically don't see anyone your age and dating apps is the only solution lmaooo. my director actually married someone he met off tinder, one of my friends is engaged to someone she met off hinge and 2 of my friends are in relationships with people they met off other dating apps
Yea it's just a college fling for them. Because college is so stressful and time is so used, that they use it as a talking point while they are up in their dorm in sweat pants eating ice cream and struggling to write a paper in 15min before class.

The fact that these girls spend so much time on these dating sites just to get self validation shin messing with people's emotions and then calling the people that are genuinely trying to find love on those apps is just so ironic but also so pathetic at the same time they're shaming people then might be a bit insecure and may have some issues confronting a person up front rate out the gate in person As they literally use strangers strangers opinions Online about them to give them an ego boost if that's not pathetic and just show embarrassing I don't know what is.

Interesting you focused on the women when the men admitted to doing it too and said they know other men that also use tinder to bullshit around. And its literally specific to tinder because that app is literally useless to young people for anything besides hookups. I don't even use any of these apps but its really not a big deal, you just sound bitter that no one replies to you or something.

Over the summer, Georgetown University invited me to their forum/event on medicine due to my ‘academic excellence and interest in the field’. I haven’t finished the video yet, but, in case they didn’t mention, Georgetown University was one of many universities who have been scamming students out of financial assistance. I am. Glad that I opted out of this (very expensive, multiple thousands of dollars of cost with an option to ‘pay it off’ with some sort of work and payment plan) opportunity. Dodged a goddamn bullet.
